(p. 1357) sonnamu or సొన్న sonamu. [from Skt. స్వర్ణమ్.] n. Gold. బంగారు. A certain gold coin, మాడ. 'అల్లయంగళ్లందున్ సొన్నా టంకంబిచ్చెద అన్నమిడెడువారు గలరెయని యడుగుతరిన్.' Zacc. vi. 114. సొన్నారి sonnāri. (సొన్నము+అరి.) n. A goldsmith, స్వర్ణకారుడు, అగసాలెవాడు, కంసలవాడు.

(p. 1376) svarṇamu svarṇamu. [Skt.] n. Gold. కనకము, బంగారు. స్వర్ణరససిద్ధి alchemy. ఆ కవికి స్వర్ణాభిషేకము చేసినాడు he made the poet wallow in wealth. ఆ ధ్వజస్తంభమునకు స్వర్ణాభిషేకము చేయించినాడు he gilt the flagstaff of the temple. స్వర్ణకారుడు svarṇa-kāruḍu. n. A goldsmith. కంసలవాడు.
