A bag in which betel and nut are kept. వక్కాకుతిత్తి. వట్టపడు vaṭrapaḍu. v. n. To become less, to be diminished, decreased, or lessened, తగ్గు. వట్రపెట్టు vaṭra-peṭṭu. v. a. To diminish, decrease, make less, తక్కువపరుచు. తగ్గించు. వట్రించు, వట్రిల్లు or వట్రిలు vaṭrinṭsu. v. n. To make round, or cut round. గుండ్రనగాచేయు. To turn, తిరుగు. To turn back, పరాఙ్ముఖమగు. (p. 1395) hrasvamu hrasvamu. [Skt.] adj. Short, low in stature, dwarf, little; short, as a vowel; small less. వామనమైన, పొట్టి, దీర్ఘముకాని, లఘువైన, అల్పమైన. ఆకారోహ్రస్వః గుణాస్తు విపులాః short is his stature, great his fame. వారికి నడిచేమాన్యములు హ్రస్వము చేయించినాడు he cut short their livings. n. A short syllable in prosody. ఏకమాత్ర వర్ణము, లఘ్వక్షరము. హ్రస్వుడు hrasvuḍu. n. A dwarf. పొట్టివాడు.
