(p. 942) maṭṭa maṭṭa. [Tel.] n. A bough or stem (of the palm cocoanut, or date tree.) తాళనారికేళాదులకొమ్మ. కలబందమట్ట the stem of the Aloe plant. The tail of an animal. ఆవులలోనగువానితోక. The sucking fish, called the Echeneis, or remora. Several species of this are called కొర్రమట్ట. పయి౛ారుమట్ట, మట్టగుడిసె or మట్టగొరిసె, పూలమట్ట. మాలమట్ట and కడిచమట్ట. See Russell, Plates. 82 and 84. మట్టగిడుసు maṭṭa-giḍusu. n. A sort of fish.

(p. 998) mucce muchche. [Tel.] n. A shoe. పై౛ారు. ముచ్చెలు shoes, పై౛ారులు. adj. Appertaining to the Moochee caste, who are generally painters, bookbinders, paper cutters, makers of saddles, toys, trunks, &c. చర్మకారసంబంధమైన. ముచ్చెకర్ర muchchekarra. n. A spongy wood, Erythrina indica. బాడిదెచెక్క. Rox. iii. 249. It is so called because much used by Moochees or cabinet-makers. ముచ్చెపని muchche-pani. n. Lacquer work. ముచ్చెపెట్టె muchche-peṭṭe. n. A lacquered box. ముచ్చెబంగారము or ముచ్చిబంగారము muchche-bangāramu. n. Tinsel. కాకి బంగారు, ఇత్తడిలోభేదము. ముచ్చెవాడు muchche-vāḍu. n. A man of the ముచ్చె caste, చర్మకారుడు.

Skipping. గంతులువేయు, స్థలితమైన, తొట్రుపడే. Shining, ప్రకాశించే, 'రింఖత్కనకమణిపుంకశరముల.' T. v. 62. టీ రింఖత్ = ప్రకాశించెడి. 'కంధరా కాంతిధూర్వా, ఘనతర్షోత్కర్షరింఖ త్కరసదనమృగగ్రాసవిత్రాసలోల.' ib. v. 126. టీ రింకత్ = ఎగురుచున్నటువంటి. 'సైంధవరింఖాసం ఘాతజాతరేణూగ్రతమోరింఖద్రిపునృప.' (p. 1212) verazu , వెరంజు or వెర౛ూడు veradsu. [Tel.] v. a. To steal, plunder; to take by large handfuls. దొంగిలించు, మ్రుచ్చిలించు, ౛ారుకొను, ౛ుర్రుకొను. 'వెదకివెదకి వెన్నవెర౛ాడుచున్నాడు.' V.
