(p. 450) culaka , చులక, చులకతనము, చులకదనము, or చులకన or చుల్కన ṭsulaka. n. Lightness, ease, facility: slight, scorn. చులకనగా చూచు to despise, to treat with contempt, చులకని ṭsulakani. adj. Light, easy, slight, worthless, contemptible. చులకనిపంట a light crop or lesser harvest.

(p. 650) niculamu niṭsulamu. [Skt.] n. The red Oleander tree. ఎర్రగన్నేరు. M. XIII. i. 167. Game, poultry, any bird that may be eaten. 'నిచులబరాయవుల్ నిర్గళద్రసములు, మధురనిచులంబులిడెనొక్క మధురవాణి.' Balarama. vi. 127, 146.

(p. 673) nūru nūru. [Tel.] v. a. To grind or sharpen. పదునుచేయు. To reduce to powder, పిండిచేయు. వాని కెంత నూరిపోసినా రాలేదే, నేనేమిచేతును I cannot beat learning into him, what shall I do? నూరురాయి nūru-rāyi. n. A whetstone, a grindstone. సన్నికల్లు, మంగలకత్తి నూరురాయి. నూరు nuru. n. A hundred. నూటపది one hundred and ten. నూరారు nūr-āru. adj. Numberless, unnumbered (lit. a hundred and six) నూరంచులకయిదువు nūr-anṭsula-kayi duvu. n. The hundred-edged (or many edged) thunderbolt of Indra, వజ్రాయుధము.

(p. 1021) meccu meṭsṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To applaud, commend, praise, approve, శ్లాఘించు. ఒప్పుకొను. ఆపనికి మెచ్చి approving that act. 'జీవహింసలకును శివుడు మెచ్చండు.' Raghava Pandav. iii. 25. n. Praise, approbation, applause, commendation. మెప్పు, శ్లాఘన, అనుగ్రహము, ప్రీతి, బహుమానము. మెచ్చుపడసెను he was applauded. adj. Praiseworthy, శ్లాఘ్యము. మెచ్చుకొను meṭsṭsu-konu. v. a. To praise, approve, commend. శ్లాఘించు, కొనియాడు. మెచ్చులచెట్టు meṭsṭsula cheṭṭu The admirable tree, an epithet applied to the కల్పవృక్షము. మెచ్చులాడి meṭsṭsul-āḍi. n. A woman who is fit to be admired. మెచ్చుకొనదగిన ఆడుది, మెచ్చులాడు meṭsṭsul-āḍu. n. One who is fit to be admired, మెచ్చుకొనదగినవాడు. మెరమెచ్చు mera-meṭsṭsu. (మెచ్చు + మెచ్చు.) n. (p. 1222) vēyi, vēyi or వెయ్యి vēyi. [Tel.] pron. A thousand. సహస్రము. plu. వేలు. వేనవేలు vēna-vēlu. n. (వేలు+వేలు.) Many thousands. అనేకవేలు. వేమరు or వేమారు vē-maru. adv. A thousand times, again and again, over and over, often, constantly. పలుమరు, మాటిమాటికి. వేమాటికి vē-māṭiki. adv. Again and again. వేయంచులకైడువు vēy-anṭsula-kaiduvu. n. Lit. a thousand edged weapon; an epithet of Vishnu's discus, విష్ణుచక్రము. వేయిచేతులరేడు vēyi-chētula-rēḍu. n.
