అంకము
(p. 2) aṅkamu ankamu. [Tel. Drav. word borrowed by Skt. √ అన్్క్ = to move in a curve.] n. A ma spot, badge. బిరుదాంకము = బిరుదు గురుతు. 'అంకపురాజింక.' వసు. ii. 11. The haunch or part above the hip. A chapter or section. An act in a play. Proximity. A numerical figure, a cipher. A military show, a sham fight. వింతపోరు, చిత్రయుద్ధము. 'అంకగతుడైన దైత్యుని నాగ్రహమున.' భాగ. A fault, a sin, Objection, cavil ఆక్షేపము. 'అంకముసేయవచ్చునలయయ్యలమున్నుగ బ్రస్తుతించెదన్.' మైరా. i. అంకతలము or అంకపీఠి the lap, the part on which an infant sits, as on the lap. 'నయనీయంకతలంబునన్నిదుర నూనంజేయగా వేడెదన్.' విక్ర iii. 94. అంకుడు n. He who is marked or distinguished గురుతుగలవాడు. మృగాంకుడు the moon.

అబ్వాబు
(p. 68) abvābu abvābu. [H.] n. (Lit. Doors, chapters.) Miscellaneous revenue accounts. 'The usual heads in Revenue accounts are Mal and Abwab. The Mal or Regular revenue is collected on land and customs, including taxes on liquors, &c The Abwab, or Miscellaneous includes the difference of exchange (often considerable) between that of the market and the fixed rate at which the revenue of the district is paid, casual aid or support of the Government officers, fees to the shroff, and contributions to various feasts.' See ఆకంఠము and ఆచండాలము. 5. A Telugu affix denoting question, or surprise as అతడా (is it) he? 6. An interjection ఆ, or ఆ ఆ, or ఆహ Yes, Aye: or Ah! A. iv. 5.
ఆశ్వాసము
(p. 128) āśvāsamu or ఆశ్వాసనము āṣvāsamu. [Skt. lit taking breath or rest.] n. A chapter or section; a canto. Consolation. ఊరట. ఆశ్వాసించు āṣvāsinṭsu. v. n. To console, to comfort. ఊరడించు.

(p. 262) kaḷyāṇamu kaḷyāṇamu. [Skt.] n. Good fortune, weal, prosperity, marriage. కళ్యాణోత్సవము the high day, or anniversary celebrated at any temple as the god's wedding day. కళ్యాణమంటపము a small chapel attached to a temple where the god is placed when celebrating the different festivals.

Absolute, down right. ఖండితోత్తరము a decisive answer. ఖండీభూతము khanḍī-bhūtamu. adj. Dashed to pieces. M. VII. iv. 308. ఖండేందువు khanḍēnduru. n. The half moon or crescent. ఖండశశి. ఖండేందు భూషణుడు he who wears a crescent as his crest, i.e, Siva.
గౌరి
(p. 396) gauri gauri. [Skt.] n. A damsel. A title of the goddess Parvati. A beautiful woman. గౌరీలక్షణము (a description of female beauty) is the title of a chapter in మయశిల్పము on sculpture. గౌరీకుంకుమములు gaurī-kunkumamulu. n. A fine species of white rice. గౌరీగణ్యము or గౌరిగనియము gaurī-gaṇyamu. n. A sort of cloth. BD. iii. 107. గౌరిపాషాణము See పాషాణము.

(p. 405) capala chapala. [Skt.] n. Lightning, a flash. A. vi. 130. చపలము chapalamu. adj. Glancing, fickle, tremulous, volatile, wavering, unsteady, wanton. కదలెడు. నిలుకడలేని. చపలత fickleness, a whimsical disposition చపలచిత్తము.
