(p. 565) tōdōpulu tō-dōpulu. [Tel. తోపు+తోపు.] n. Exultation, pushing forward. తోదోపులుమీరి in an increasing struggle; ప్రజ విస్తారమువచ్చినది గనుక తోదోపులు నేడు అధికము a great crowd of people came, so to-day there is great excitement. తోదోపులాడు or తోద్రోపులాడు tō-dōpu-l-āḍu. v. n. To overflow or burst forth as the feelings. 'ఆ పొలతివలపు తలపునడాపక తోడ్రోపులాడుటయు.' T. ii. 100. టీ పైపైకి తోనుకొనివచ్చుట.

(p. 832) pratyāhāramu praty-āhāramu. [Skt.] n. A withdrawal or restraining of the organs, so as to be indifferent to disagreeable or agreeable excitement. బాహ్యదృష్టింపరిత్యజ్య అంతర్ముఖత్వే, ఇంద్రియస్వాయత్తకరణె. స్వస్వవిషయేభ్య ఇంద్రియాకర్షణం, ఉపాదానము. (p. 850) prēriñcu , ప్రేరేచు, ప్రేరేపు or ప్రేరేపించు prērinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To urge, induce, incite, spur, instigate, excite, prompt, urge, encourage. ప్రేరణచేయు. పురికొలుపు. ప్రేరేపణచేయు. ప్రేరకుడు prērakuḍu. n. One who incites or encourages, ప్రేరేపణచేయువాడు. ప్రేరణ. ప్రేరణము or ప్రేపణ prēraṇa. n. Inducement, encouragement, temptation, excitement, instigation, urging. పురికొలుపడము. 'ప్రేరణమును లేనిలేమ.' Sumati. 65. ప్రేరణి prēraṇi. n. A kind of dance, ఒకవిధమైననృత్యము. ప్రేరణీయము prēra-ṇīyamu. adj. Fit to be encouraged, ప్రేరణ చేయదగిన. ప్రేరితము prēritamu. adj. Encouraged or incited, ప్రేరేపబడిన. ప్రేరితుడు prērituḍu. n. One who is induced instigated or encouraged, పురికొల్పబడ్డవాడు. ప్రేరేపకుడు prē-rēpakḍu. (for ప్రేరకుడు.) n. (p. 852) prōtsāhamu prōtsāhamu. [Skt. ప్ర+ఉత్సాహము.] n. Stimulus, incitement, excitement, encouragement. Alacrity. ఉద్రేకము. ప్రోత్సాహకుడు prōtsāhakuḍu. n. One who urges or incities. An adviser. ప్రేరేపకుడు.

(p. 1060) rañjillu or రంజిలు ranjillu. [Skt.] v. n. To be reddened, ఎర్రనగు. To shine, to be splendid. వెలయు. To be glad or pleased, to rejoice, be charmed or delighted. రంజనము ranjanamu. n. Gladdening, rejoicing; excitement. రాగజననము, సంతోషమును కలుగజేయడము. Red sandal. రక్తచందనము, ఎర్రగందము. రంజించు ranjinṭsu. v. a. (p. 1181) vibhāvamu vi-bhāvamu. [Skt.] n. Acquaintance. Attraction or excitement; that which attracts or excites, as dress or perfume, పరిచితి, కామోద్దీపనము, రసోత్పాదన కారణము. 'మీభావము యోగ్యాయోగ్య విభావముగా గానవలయుసరహితబుద్ధిన్.' Bilh. iii. 27.

(p. 1246) śāntamu ṣāntamu. [Skt.] adj. Calm, patient, tranquil, meek, humble; appeased, calmed, stilled, శమితము. n. Patience, mildness, gentleness, tranquility. ఓర్పు, తాలిమి, సమానము. శాంతి ṣānti. n. Tranquility, calmness, quietness, rest, peace, serenity. Stoicism, absencce of passion, quietism. Convalescencce, cessation or alleviation of disease. A religious rite to avert inauspicious accidents or to procure remission of disease. కామక్రోధాదిరాహిత్యము, ఉపళమసము, రోగాదులమట్టుపడడము, క్రూరగ్రహాదులకు ఉపశమనముగా చేసే క్రియ. గ్రామశాంతి a ceremony on completing a village to propitiate evil spirits, &c. ఋతుశాంతి the consummation of a marriage. రోగశాంతి the curing of a disease. తాపశాంతి allaying heat or excitement. దాహశాంతి quenching thirst. శాంతించు ṣāntintsu. v. n. To become calm, to be pacified, శాంతిని పొందు. To improve in health, to become better. మట్టుపడు. గుణపడు. శాంతిపరచు ṣānliparaṭsu. v. a. To mitigate, alleviate, calm, మట్టుచేయు.
