(p. 93) avatariñcu ava-tarinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To come down, to get down into. దిగు. To be born. పుట్టు. To appear, to put on a form, to become incarnate. అవతారమెత్తు. విష్ణువు మత్స్యముగా అవతరించెను Vishnu appeared as a fish. కృష్ణుడుగా అవతరించెను he was born as Krishna, or he appeared as Krishna or he put on the form of Krishna. అవతారము ava-tāramu. [Skt.] n. Incarnation, metamorphosis. The descent of a deity from heaven in a particular shape, the appearance of any deity upon earth, origin. దేవుడు రూపాంతరమును ఎత్తడము. విష్ణువు ఎత్తిన దశావతారములు the ten incarnations of Vishnu. రామావతారమెత్తినప్పుడు when he appeared on earth as Rama. వాడు గర్వావతారము he is pride incarnate, అది క్షామావతారము she is the genius of famine. (Shakesp. 2. Hen. IV. act. 3.) 'famine in the abstract, famine embodied, or personified.' అవతారపురుషుడు avatāra-purushuḍu. n. A god man, a divinē being in human form. మహాత్ముడు.

(p. 718) pariṇatamu pariṇatamu. [Skt.] adj. Ripe, mature, పక్వమైన. Bent, bowed. 'పరిణతాపముల్.' Vasu. iv. 6. n. A butting elephant, an elephant stooping to strike with his tusks. పరిణతి pariṇati. n. Bending, bowing. వమ్రత, వంగడము. 'నిజంబరయగక్షేత్రజ్ఞుడు పరిణతిగల యతడు సత్వపదవిదుడునుడీ' M. XIV. ii. 228. A technical expression for a set of verbs. భూజ్వాదిః, పరిణతిః, భూసత్తాయాం, బిజయె అనే ధాతువులు అదిగాగల కొన్ని క్రియలకు పారిభాషికనామము. త్రివిధమైన క్రియలో నొకటి పరిణద్దము pariṇaddhamu. adj. (p. 1083) rūpakamu rūpakamu. [Skt.] n. An allegory, a parable. A metaphor. Also, same as రూపము, రూపము rūpamu. Figure, form, shape, appearance, semblance, ఆకారము. Nature, స్వభావము. Beauty, సౌందర్యము. నిజరూపము, ఉన్నరూపము or కలరూపము the real form the fact, the very truth, reality. అర్థరూపము and పూర్ణరూపము are terms in statuary for the profile and front figure. మారురూపము metamorphosis, another shape, a disguise. రూపకముగా or రూపముగా rūpakamu-gā. adv. (p. 1165) vikṛtamu vikṛitamu. [Skt. from వికారము.] adj. Changed, altered, transformed. Imperfect, deformed, fried. వికారమైన, విరూపమైన, విజాతీయమైన, వికలాంగమైన. 'వివిధ పాపాత్ములు వికృతశరీరులై యాతనాబాధితులగుటమానె.' M. XVIII. i. 39. 'పరువడి వికృతరూపముననయోధ్యకరిగి.' ND. iv. 496. వకృతి vikṛiti. n. Change, transformation, metamorphosis; distortion, depravity. వికారము, కించిత్ప్రకృత్యన్యధాభావము, వికాసక్షోభవిక్షేపమనోజాత వికారము.
