Obsequies, funeral rites. దినవారాలు, కర్మాంతరము. అపరధాన్యములు or అపరాలు or అపరదినుసులు other kinds of grain, miscellaneous grains, all sorts of grain in pods, such as beans, &c. కాయధాన్యములు. One verse says. 'ఉత్తరే పూర్వసస్యాని అపరస్యానిరేవతౌ.' అపరనామము n. A second name. రెండో పేరు. అపర భాగము n. The hind part, వెనుకటి భాగము. అపరమంత్రములు n. Funeral prayers. అపరరాత్రి midnight, the latter half of the night. అపరలోకము another world. అపరవారధి the western ocean. వాడు పూర్వాపరములు చేయించగలడు he is qualified as priest to solemnize both the marriage and funeral rites. అపరాహ్నము or అపరాహ్ణము [Skt. అపర+అహ్నము.] n. (p. 238) kadambamu or కదంబకము kadambamu. [Skt.] n. A mixture. మిశ్రము. An assembly, a collection గుంపు, సముదాయము. A garland of various flowers, a mixture of divers things, a miscellany. బాణకదంబకము a flight or cloud of arrows. నృపాలకదంబము an assembly of kings. A certain flowering plant called Nauclea Cadamba. మొగులు కడిమి. ఆవాలు. రుద్రాక్షకదంబము Anthocephalus Cadamaba (Watts.) కదంబపొడి kadamba-poḍi. n. Pouncet. (p. 242) kanna kanna. [Tel.] adj. (Contracted from కనిన who begot). 'By birth' (a parent) as distinguished from పెంపుడు 'by adoption.' కన్నతండ్రి one's own father or natural father; కన్నతల్లి one's own mother; కన్నబిడ్డ a child by birth, not by adoption. కన్న (i.e., కనిన seen, perceived.) adj. Any, miscellaneous, indiscriminately taken, vile. కన్నకూళ్లు any food that one could get. కన్నమాటలు vile language. కన్నవాడు anybody, without selection. కన్నవారు strangers, anybody. కన్నచోట anywhere. In Paraj. v. 46. కన్నదిగతిగా in any way or direction, headlong. కాకి కన్నది తింటుంది the crow eats trash.

(p. 348) ganta ganta. [Tel.] n. A packsaddle, a quilt of motley patchwork. బొంత. గంతగోడు bridal presents, being of all kinds, a medley. A. vi. 181. R. iv. 109. A miscelany, a pack, a set of things. కండ్లగంతకట్టు to blindfold. గంతావు gant-āvu. n. A cow that carries a packsaddle.

(p. 718) paripari pari-pari. [Tel.] adj. Divers, sundry, various. Harassed, పీడితము. పరిపరివిధములయిన miscellaneous. పరిపరివిధాలుగా in all sorts of ways. 'సాళునము కాకినొడిసినగతినే పూన్కిపాపం బెడలన్.' M. iv. ii. 286. పరిపరియలు pari-pariyalu. n. Piecemeal. తుత్తుమురు, తునకతునకలు. See పరియ.

(p. 824) prakīrṇamu pra-kīrṇamu. [Skt.] adj. Spread abroad, published, promulgated: expanded, opened, scattered, dispersed. వెదచల్లబడ్డ. ప్రకీర్ణము or ప్రకీర్ణకము prakīrṇamu. n. A chowri, a cow tail used as a fan, or whisk, వింజామురము adj. Miscellaneous. వింజామరము a miscellaneous chapter or section of a book.

(p. 1269) saṅkīrṇamu san-kīrṇamu. [Skt.] adj. Crowded, confused. Mixed, impure, miscellaneous. Spread, diffused, ఎడములేకుండా నిండిన, సంకరమైన, అన్నియును కలిసిన, వ్యాపించిన.
