This word sometimes denotes depreciation as కాకి బంగారు false gold, tinsel. కాకిదొండపండు the wild cherry. దేశకాకి, or దేశమ్మకాకి a wandering wretch or vagrant. సముద్రపుకాకి an osprey. నీరుకాకి a cormorant. ఇనుపముక్కు కాకి the giant vulture or king of the vultures. మూలకాకి a raven. బొంతకాకి a raven. కాకిచంపు విత్తులు kāki-champu-vittulu. Same as కాకమారి (q. v.) కాకిచావు kāki-ṭsāsu. n Apoplexy, sudden death. కాకిచిప్ప kaki chippa. n. A bivalve shell. కాకిచెమ్మలు or కాకితీపు or కాకిసోమాల or కాకిసొమ్మ kāki-chemmalu. n. (p. 288) kuñjamu kunjamu. [Skt.] n. A thicket, a bower, or arbour. పొదరిల్లు. An elephant's cheek ఏనుగుచెక్కిలి. An elephant's tusk ఏనుగుకొమ్ము. కుంజరము kunjaramu. n. An elephant. The best of anything శ్రేష్ఠము కవికుంజరుడు a great poet. మౌనికుంజరములు the noblest of hermits. కుంజరాశనము kunjar-āṣanamu. n. Elephant's food. The poplar leaved fig tree, ficus religious. రావిచెట్టు.

(p. 895) būraga , బూరుగ, బూరుగు or బూరువు būraga. [Tel.] n. The silk cotton tree. Bombax heptaphylla, Rox. iii. 167. శాల్మలి. Its wood is like the poplar or sallow proverbially large and useless. వాడు వట్టి బూరగమాను he is a mere log, he is a stupid booby. One species is called కుక్కబూరగ; another is దుంకిబూరగచెట్టు. Briedelia scandens Rox. iii. 737. బూరగదూది the cotton found in these pods, which steeped in nitre, is used for tinder. ముండ్లబూరగమాను. Bombax malabaricum (Wight, plate 297 and Watts.) బూరుగు దీవి the name of an island, శాల్మలద్వీపము.
