(p. 139) irulu irulu. [Tel.] n. Shades, shadows, darkness. చీకటి, చీకట్లు. ఇరులుకొను irulu-konu. v. n. To become dark or obscure. చీకటిపడు. ఇరులగొంగ irula-gonga. n. The destroyer of darkness. i.e., the Sun.

(p. 178) ṛṣi ṛishi. [Skt.] n. A prophet or saint, gifted with supernatural powers. A sage. A proverb says ఋషిమూలము నదీమూలము the origin of a sage is as obscure as that of a river.
