(p. 45) adhamamu adhamamu. [Skt.] adj. Inferior; vile, low, despicable. నీచమైన. అధమంసేవకావృత్తిః servitude is the meanest work. నరాధములు the vilest of men. అధమాంగము = the lowest member of the body, the foot. అధమత్వము n. Inferiority, vileness. నీచత్వము. అధమాధమము adj. The basest, the worst, the lowest of the low. అతినీచమైన అధమాధముడు n. He who is the meanest of the mean, or basest of the base. మిక్కిలి నీచుడు. అధముడు adhamuḍu. n. A low fellow. నీచుడు.

(p. 864) baḍi baḍi. [Tel. from పడు to fall.] adj. Slight, petty, 'బడిపనులేమేని పనుపుచు నంబిక డుకొనిపిలువంగ నడువనేర్చితిని.' BD. iv. 1267. బడిపనులు servitude. కొలువుడుపనులు. బడిగుర్రము an unsaddled horse. బడి. adv. Along with, వెంబడి. 'అఖిలజనంబులనుంబడి చేసికొని వెడలియతండు యమ్మోహరంబుదీర్చునెడ.' M. vi. ii. 348. అందరినిన్ని వెంటబెట్టుకొని. Like, as, conformably to, according to. దీని బడిచేయించుము make it like this one. బడికోడి or కోడిబడి boḍi-kōḍi. n. A barn door fowl. A large fowl. బడి baḍi. So many times as much, గుణార్థము. ఇబ్బడి as much again, twice as much. మబ్బడి thrice as much. బడిబడి baḍi-baḍi. adv. Repeatedly, one after another. మాటిమాటికి. 'ప్రమదంబున బంధుజనులు బడిబడిరాగన్.' Sunanda. v. 155. బడివారడి baḍi-vāraḍi. n. Apportionment, allotment, lot. The share of revenue levied on each farmer. ప్రతిమనుష్యునకు వేసెడు పన్ను.

(p. 865) baḍugu or బడువు baḍugu. [Tel.] adj. Weak, lean, skinny, కృశము, అశక్తమైన. Poor, necessitous. బడుగురాక్షసుడు a gaunt demon. బడుగునడుము (B. viii. 421. and Amuk. vi.) a slender waist. బడుగుపనులు (BD. iv. 628.) drudgery, servitude. బడుగుపీనుగు (BD. v. 1098.) a wretched corpse. బడుగుభక్తులు poor saints. (p. 1131) varavu or వరవుడు varavu. [Tel.] adj. Slavish, servile. ఊడిగపు. n. A servant or slave. దాసి, సేవకుడు. వరపుడము varavuḍamu. n. Service, servitude. దాస్యము. 'నీసపత్నికిన్ వరవుడవైచరింపుమని వారనినెవ్వగ శాపమిచ్చిన.' M. XIII. i. 60.

(p. 1354) sēva or సేవనము sēva. [Skt.] n. Service, servitude, homage, reverence, worship. పరిచర్య, శుశ్రుష. సేవచేయు to serve, to wait on, attend on. ఏకాంతసేవ solitary adoration. తీర్థసేవ visiting a holy place. ఔషధసేవనము taking medicine. 'అమల వాయుసేవనము నిర్మలత్వంబు.' M. XII. vi. 2. సేవకవృత్తి sēvaka-vṛitti. n. Servitude, living by service. కొలువుచేసి జీవించడము, నవుకరి. సేవకుడు or సేవి sēva-kuḍu. n. A servant, an attendant. దాసుడు. తమసేవకుడైన your obedient servant. సేవించు or సంవేవించు sēvinṭsu. v. a. To serve, to worship, to prostrate oneself, to salute; to eat or drink, as a medicine, &c. కొలుచు, పూజించు, పుచ్చుకొను, తిను, తాగు. 'కావుననేవిధమున సుర సేవింపక యుడుగుటొప్పు.' M. XIII. v. 166. బహుదివ్యదేశములు సేవించినాడు he visited many shrines. సేవితము sēvitamu. adj. Served, worshipped. కొలువబడిన, పూజింపబడిన, ఉపాసితమైన. సేవితుడు sēvituḍu. n. One who is worshipped or venerated. నమస్కృతుడు. మునిసేవితుడైన యీశ్వరుడు the god who is adored by the hermits. సేవ్యము sēvyamu. adj. Venerable, worthy of worship, సేవించడమునకు అర్హమైన, ఉపాస్యమైన. n. Ploughed land. దున్నిసిద్ధము చేసిన పొలము. సేవ్యుడు sēvyuḍu. n. One who is venerable, one who deserves worship or veneration. సేవింపదగినవాడు.
