(p. 245) kabaḷamu kabaḷamu. [Skt.] n. A mouthful, a bolus. వాని నోరు మూయడమునకు ఒక కబళము వేసిరి they gave him a sop to make him hold his tongue. కబళించు kabaḷinṭsu. v. a. To swallow, devour. To snatch, seize. To pervade (as sparks or flashes do the sky.) మింగు, పట్టుకొను, వ్యాపించు.

(p. 257) kalaviṅkamu kalavinkamu. [Skt.] n. A sparrow. ఊరపిచ్చిక, కుంకటిమూగ అనే పిట్ట.

(p. 263) kaṣāyamu kashāyamu. [Skt.] n. A decoction. An extract. An infusion prepared by boiling or evaporation. adj. Red brown or yellowish red. కషాయాంబరము cloth dyed red. పిచ్చికకషాయము sparrow broth. కోడికషాయము chicken broth. కషాయముకాచు to make an infusion or decoction.

(p. 264) kasavu or కసువు kasavu [Tel.] n. Grass, sweepings. గడ్డి, ఇంటిలో ఊడ్చిన పెంట. కసవుకుప్ప a midden, a heap of refuse. చీపురితో ఊడ్చిచేర్చిన పెంట. కసవుకోడి A snipe, Ainsl. i. 393. కసవుగువ్వ a sort of sparrow.

To keep off. అడచు. పశువులుకాచడము to tend cattle. పశువులుకాచేవాడు a cow herd. రాత్రి అంతా నిద్ర కాచినాడు he kept awake all night. నన్నుకాచేదిక్కులేదు. I have nobody who cares for me. నేను అట్లా చేసినట్టయితే నన్ను కాయబోకండి have no mercy on me if I have done so.
