To terminate, end, blow over or end (as a storm,) swell, ripen (as a boil,) to emerge, పొడచూపు To fall clear of, so as not to hit. To clear up, become known, or ascertained, be decided, as a question or doubt. To be found, come to light, result, come to pass, to be evident or revealed. To go off or depart, as sleep, sickness, &c. To escape or get off. నేను తేలే ఉపాయము ఇది this is the plan to save myself. ఏ సముద్రమందు పడవేసినా ఇది తేలును in whatever sea you place this boat it will float, i.e., this must prosper whatever may happen. తేలబలుకు (A. iv. 306.) to speak clearly. తేలిన swelling ఉబికిన; large. తేల్చి పలుకు to accent softly, to use the soft accent instead of the harsh one; as పోతన Pōtana for పోతన్న Pōtanna, and ఇపుడు ipuḍu for ఇప్పుడు ippuḍu. తేలదీయు to haul ashore, to pull out or drag out. తేలగిల్లు or తేలగిలబడు tēla-gillu. v. n. To rise to the top. పైకితేలు. To roll or swim, as the eyes. తేలగింపు swimming of the eyes. తేలవేయు tēla-vēyu. v. a. To open (the eyes) wide. కండ్లుతేలవేయు to stop winking తేలచేప tēla-chēpa. n. A kind of fish. H. iv. 225. తేలాడు tēlāḍu. (తేలి+ఆడు.) v. n. To float. తేలు, తేలిఆడు. తేలించు tēlintsu. (causal of తేలు) v. a. To cause to float. To bring up or produce. To accomplish, do, achieve, perform. To fulfil. To glance, as applied to the eyes. తేల్చిపోయు to pour in loosely or lightly. లాలించితేలించు to fondle and please. తేలిక tēlika. n. Lightness, ease. లఘుత్వము. adj. Easy, simple, light. బరువులేని. వానికి ఇప్పుడు ఒళ్లు తేలికగా నున్నది he is well. తేలుపారు tēlu-p-āru. v. n. To arise, to be born పుట్టు.

Perseverance. పట్టినది తగినట్టు నెరవేర్చుట, Maintaining, establishing, proving, accomplishing, performing, నిర్వాహము, నిర్వహించడము, సాధించడము. సమర్థించు sam-arth-inṭsu. v. a. To master, overcome a difficulty, succeed, accomplish, achieve, పట్టినది తగినట్టు నెరవేర్చు. సమర్థము sam-ar-thamu. adj. Able, capable, versed in, master of. Adequate, powerful, strong. శక్తిగల, త్రాణగల, సామర్ష్యముగల. సమర్థత sam-arthata. n. Ability, cleverness, capability. శక్తి, సామర్థ్యము. సమర్థుడు sam-arthuḍu. A man of ability or talent. శక్తిమంతుడు, గట్టివాడు, నేర్పరి, సామర్ధ్యవంతుడు. అట్లు చేయుటకు సమర్థుడనుకాను I have not the ability to do so.

(p. 1322) sādhakamu sādhakamu. [Skt.] adj. Completing, effecting, finishing. సాధించునది. n. Practice, exercise. Vouchers in evidence. Instruments, means, medium; authority for the use of a word. అభ్యాసము, అలవాటు, దస్తావేజు, ఉదాహరణము. కత్తిసాధకము sword exercise. నీవు చెప్పేమాటకు సాధకముకదర్దా have you any means of proving what you say? సాధకబాధకములు the pros and cons of a case. సాధకముచేయు sādhakamu-chēyu. v. a. To practise, exercise or use. అభ్యాసముచేయు. సాధకుడు sādhakuḍu. n. A conqueror, masterer, achiever, సాధించువాడు, నిష్పాదకుడు, సాధనకర్త. A devotee, ఉపాసకుడు. 'అయ్యోగియోగ సాధకుండకానేరడు.' A. iii. 90. 'స్వానుభూతి లేకశాస్త్రవాసనలచే సంశయంబు చెడదు సాధకునకు.' (Vema. 115.) సాధనము sādhanamu. n. A way, means, medium, instrument, agent, contrivance, expedient, tool, implement. Authority, reason. నిష్పాదనము, ఉపకరణము. సామగ్రి, ఉపాయము, హేతువు. సాధనసంపత్తి ways and means. మూలసాధనము the principal means. 'చక్రగదాశంఖ శార్ఙ్గాదిసాధను.' BX. సాధనీయము sādhan-īyamu. adj. That which can be realised or accomplished, practicable. సాధింపదగిన.

(p. 1322) sādhiñcu sādhinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To achieve, accomplish, effect, master, overcome, conquer. నెరవేర్చు, సమకూర్చు. v. n. To persist in saying, insist upon, affirm. కార్యము సాధించు to obtain a thing by perseverance. 'ముక్తి సాధింపగలరు.' Vema. 866. ఆ సొమ్మును చెల్లించినాడని సాధిస్తున్నారు they affirm that he paid the money. ఆ యడవిని సాధించిరి they subdued the jungle. సలము (or పగ) సాధించినాడు he wreaked his malice. See సాధకము and సాధనము. వాడు లేదని సాధించినాడు he persistently denied the fact. ఆ అమ్మకము జరగలేదని సాధిస్తాడు he makes it out that the sale never took place. సాధు or సాధువు sādhu. adj. Tame, docile, tractable, gentle, good, not vicious. Pleasing, right, correct, fit, proper. Excellent, eminent. దుష్టుడుకాని, సాత్వికమైన, మనోహరమైన, ఉత్తమమైన, సుబద్ధమైన, మంచి, చక్కని, సాధువైనఆవు a quiet cow. సాధువు sāḍhuvu. n. A good, meek, harmless or gentle person, a good natured or virtuous man, a saint. సాత్వికుడు. మంచివాడు, తిన్ననివాడు. 'సాధులగు పేదవారికి నెగ్గుల్.' M. I. i. 130. సాధ్యము sādhyamu. adj. Possible, attainable, practicable, tractable. సాధింపదగిన. n. The twenty second astronomical Yoga. గ్రహ యోగములలో నొకటి సాధ్యానుస్వారము sādhy-ānusvāramu. n. The changeable sunna (n) which may be inserted according to circumstances, as in అల్లుడు, అల్లుండు, అతడు, అతండు. సాధ్యుడు sādhyuḍu. n. One who is easy, docile, gentle or reasonable. సాధింపదగినవాడు, సులభుడు, మెత్తనివాడు. వీడు సాధ్యుడు వారు అసాధ్యులు he may be mastered but they cannot be mastered. An inferior deity, or demigod. సాధ్వసము sādhvasamu. n. Fear, terror. భయము. సాధ్వి sādhvi. n. A good woman, a chaste wife. పతివ్రత. సాధ్వితుడు sādhvituḍu. n. A saint, a chaste or holyman. ముని.

(p. 1327) sārlā sārlā. [Tel.] n. Success, completion, achievement, good result. కార్యసిద్ధి, అనుకూలత. సార్లాఅగు sārlā-agu. v. n. To succeed, to be finished. సఫలమగు, అనుకూలమగు. ఆ పని సార్లాకేలేదు the undertaking did not succeed. సార్లాచేయు sārlā-chēyu. v. a. To settle, prepare, get ready, పరిష్కారము చేయు, సిద్ధముచేయు. దాన్ని సార్లాచేసుకొనెను he brought it about, settled it. అది సార్లాఅయినది the thing succeeded well. సార్లాపడు sārlā-paḍu. v. n. To be gained, to come to a good result, to prosper, అనుకూలపడు, సఫలమగు. సార్లాపరచు or సార్లాపెట్టు sārlā-paraṭsu. v. a. To bring about, get (a thing) done, get is settled. అనుకూలపరచు, తిర్చు.
