Protestation. ఆన పూర్వకముగా faithfully, according to oath. ఆనలుకడకండ్లు అప్పు మొప్పు oaths are nonsense and a debt is a plague. నీయాన I swear by thee. నాయాన I swear by myself (as in English upon my word, upon my honor.)

(p. 129) āsukōvi āsu-kōvi. [Tel.] n. A stick through which the thread thus placed is passed. ఆసుపోయు āsu-pōyu. v. i. To pass this thread through the ఆసుకోవి: (in so placing it they run backwards and forwards, and hence) ఆసుపోసినట్టు denotes, backwards and forwards: this way and that way. పడుగుదారము తిప్పినట్లు. ఆసుమాను āsu-mānu. n. A frame work used to adjust the thread. నూలు పోగు పారించుటకు వాడే చట్టము.

To be selected, distinguished, separated, arranged, appointed. రూపగు, తేటపడు,బయలుపడు, నిర్ణయింపబడు. కర్తలై యేర్పడినారు they appeared as, or, turned out to be the heirs. ఏర్పరుచు or ఏర్పరించు ērparaṭsu. v. a. (casual of ఏర్పడు) To form, adjust. To choose, select. distinguish. To separate, divide, To set forth, define, declare. To arrange, to settle. ఏర్పడునట్లు చేయు. ఏర్పాటు ēr-pāṭu. n. An arrangement, settlement, rule. Fixing, disposal, decision, management. Selection, choice, agreement. నిర్ణయము, నియమము, వివరణము. ఏర్పాటుచేయు to select, arrange, to effect an arrangement. To project or scheme.

(p. 207) oṭṭu oṭṭu. [Tel.] n. An oath శపథము. A penalty, curse, ban, interdiction నిరోధము. నిద్రపట్టితే ఒట్టు a curse on me if I slept! ఆ దారి చూపు, నేను పోకపోతే ఒట్టు shew me the way and it shall be my fault if I do not go. Half a pack; being as much as is on each side of a bullock. వానికి చెక్కు చెమర్చినది he was quite exhausted. చెక్కులుపిక్కలు pranks, roguery. చెక్కుచెదరక unharmed, untouched, intact. అది చెక్కు చెదరకుండనున్నది it is in excellent order.
