(p. 240) kanu kanu. [Tel.] n. The eye. See కన్ను. v. a. To see, perceive, observe. To know or understand. To bear or bring forth (young or fruit.) 'ననల్్గన.' (A. v. 132.) bearing blossoms. To beget. నలుగురిని కన్నతండ్రి one who has four children. To experience, feel, enjoy. ఇందులో మోక్షమును కన్న వారెవరు who among these has been to heaven. విమలతగనిరి they acquired holiness. కని / (the past p) is used adverbially; clearly, distinctly. ఆ సంగతినికని వ్రాసినాడు he wrote his letter with an eye to this point. కనిచెప్పు to specify clearly in words, to particularize. కనిగానములు the seeing and not perceiving. Oversight. Ila. i. 60.

(p. 264) kā or గా kā. the adverbial sign కా. Is it not so, to be sure కదా, కాదా. వాడున్నాడుకా he is there, I suppose. వాడు వ్రాసినాడుకా you see he wrote it. ఆ యెడ్లు అతనివి కావచ్చును perhaps the cattle are his. నగదుగా ఇచ్చినారు they paid it in silver. See గా, and అగు. కాగానే as soon as it is done.

(p. 345) g or గా ga. The adverbial sign, for కాన్ as తిన్నగా correctly, slowly, gently, వంకరగా crookedly. It is added to the Infinitive in A, as చేయగ or చేయగా, చూడగ. It is also added to nouns to give them an adverbial force. పుష్పములను నీకు సాయకంబులుగ జేసె he provided thee with flowers for arrows. నల్లగనున్నది it is black. గ stands for 'గజము a yard. In prosody గ denotes గురువు a long syllable, and గా or గగము is a spondee. గ also stands for గద్య prose. In music గ is the note called mi in European music.

(p. 362) gā gā. [Tel.] n. (an adverbial affix being the infinitive కా of అగు) తండ్రిగా ఉండినాడు he was like a father to me దొరగా ఉండెను. he was as master, or he was master. మూడుగా తెలుస్తున్నది it looks like three. గమిగా వచ్చినారు they came in a crowd. నల్లగానున్నది it is black; Added to verbs. It means when, while, as or since. ఈ పని కాగానే as soon as ever this is finished. వాడు చేరగా on his arrival, when he arrived. మీరు ఆ పనిని చేయుచుండగా while you are doing that work.

(p. 497) tḥ tah. An adverbial affix used with some Sanskrit words, as అన్యాయతః unjustly, అజ్ఞానతః unconsciously.

(p. 1196) vistaramu vistaramu. [Skt.] n. Spreading, expansion; prolixity, detail, abundance, plenty. శబ్దాదులవిస్తృతి, వ్యాప్తి, ప్రాచుర్యము, బాహుళ్యము. విస్తరించచి visarinchi. (participle used adverbially) Much, abundantly, greatly, considerably. నిండా, మిక్కుటముగా విస్తరిలు or విస్తరిల్లు vistarilu. v. n. To spread, extend, increase, enlarge, exceed, be prolix, dilate. విస్తారమగు, వ్యాపించు. విస్తరించు vistarinṭsu. v. a. To extend, spread out, increase, swell; to particularise. విస్తరిల్లజేయు, వివరించు. విస్తారము vistāramu. n. Spreading, extension, expanse, breadth, vastness. Plenty, abundance విరివి, బాహుళ్యము. 'తగువారి గాంచియత్యధ్బుతంబగు భవజ్జనకు తెరంగు విస్తార మొప్పజెప్పిన.' M. XIV. iii. 228. adj. Plentiful, abundant; extended, extensive, large, great, much, extreme. బహుళము. విరివియైన. విస్తారముగా vistāramu-gā. adv. Plentifully, abundantly, largely, much.బహుళముగా, నిండా, చాలా. విస్తీర్ణత vistīṛ-ṇata. n. Extent, area. విస్తీర్ణము vistī-ṇamu. adj. Great, large, wide, extended, extensive. విస్తారమైన, విశాలమైన.
