(p. 317) koṭṭu koṭṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To strike, knock. smite, beat, thrash. To attack (as rats do.) To rob, as highwaymen do. To quash, refute, defeat, dismiss, nonsuit. To strike off (the head) or behead.
