(p. 637) nalugu , నలగు or నలియు nalugu. [Tel.] v. n. To break. To be broken, bruised, crushed, crumpled or reduced to powder. నలియగు. To rub with a fragrant paste నలుగుపెట్టు. To become easy, smooth, or familiar by acquaintance. To wither, be weakened or debilitated. ఆ పాఠము అతనికి నలిగినది the lesson has become familiar to him. దోవ యింకా నలగలేదు the road is not yet trodden smooth. వారు జగడమాడగా నేను నలిగిపోతిని they were the disputants but I was the sufferer, I was crushed between them. వారు నలిగిపోయినాడు they are in reduced circumstances. ఒళ్లు నలిగియున్నది the limbs are quite tired. నలుగు nalugu. n. Rubbing, scrubbing the limbs with fragrant paste made usually of పెసలు. నలుగుపెట్టు to rub the limbs with paste. నలుగు or నలుగుపిండి n. A sort of fragrant paste used as soap. నలుగుడు or నలగుడు naluguḍu. n. Difficulty, trouble, pain, suffering. పిడనము, సంకటము, తొందర, ఇబ్బంది 'అతండు నలుగుడుబడరాదో మగువ.' Suca. iii. 333. That which is thrashed or bruised. నలిగినది. నలుగుడుపెట్టు to oppress, to harass. నలగగొట్టు nalaga-goṭṭu. v. a. To pound, to bruise. వాణ్ని నలగకొట్టినారు they thrashed him severely. నలత or నల్త nalata. n. Debility: a weak state: the remains or constitutional effects of a disease. పురాణించిన రోగము. Convalescence, a bad state of health, lingering indisposition, a low fever. నలతగొట్టు nalata-goṭṭu. n. A make-bate, a thorn in one's side. నలుకువ or నలకువ nalukuva. n. (p. 726) paluca paluṭsa. [Tel.] adj. Thin. సన్నని. Light, తేలికయైన, చులకని. పలుచన, పలుచదనము or పల్చదనము paluṭsana. n. Thinness, leanness. Slight contempt. అడవి పలుచన thinness of the forest. ఇట్లు చేస్తే పదుగురిలో పలుచధనకాదా if you behave so you will be mean in men's eyes. పలుచని paluṭsani. adj. Thin, spare, lean, paltry. Not thickset. Disreputable, contemptible. పలుచనిపలుకులు or పలుచనిమాటలు contemptuous words or slighting expressions. మజ్జిగ నిండా పలుచగా నున్నది the buttermilk is very thin. పలుచనిబట్ట a thin cloth. పలుచపడు paluṭsa-paḍu. v. n. To become thin, to melt as butter. పలుచనగు.

(p. 956) maralu or మళ్లు maralu. [Tel.] v. n. To turn, return, go back. తిరుగు. వెనుకకు తిరిగు. To be rescinded, abrogated, annulled. 'సముద్రంబు ప్రవేశించినయేరుల చందంబున మరల నెరుంగక.' Vish. ii. 272. మరలబడు or మరలంబడు marala-baḍu. v. n. To return, మరలు, తిరుగు. To rebel. తిరుగబడు. వానినాలుక మరలబడియున్ణది his tongue is tied. 'వారల, మతమయనుష్ఠించుగాక మరలంబడునే.' M. V. i. 308. మరలబాటు marala-bāṭu. n. The act of turning back, మరలబడుట. మరలుకొను marala-konu. v. n. To turn, మరలుచు, మరల్చు, మరలించు, మర్లించు or మళ్లించు maraluṭsu. v. a. To turn back, to cause to return, to recall, to rescind, abrogate, annul. To ward off, elude, evade. 'భక్తవత్సలుండు, గోపాలబాలకుల మరలించి మరియు పెక్కు విధంబుల జరియింపుచుండె.' N. ix. 254. మరలుపు or మరల్పు maralupu. n. Changing, turning, మరల్చుట, మళ్లించుకొనడము. 'మక్కమరల్పునేర్పులు.' T. iii. 124.

To walk, behave, conduct one self. మెదిలితే చంపుతాను if you stir I will slay you 'పొదలపైమెదలు తుమ్మెదలారమీఢాక.' T. iv. 115. మెదలుచు, మెదల్చు, మెదలించు, or మెదలించు medaluṭsu. v. a.
