(p. 57) anurakti or అనురాగము anu-rākti. [Skt.] n. Love, attachment, desire. ప్రీతి. అనురక్తము anu-raktamu. [Skt.] adj. Attached, fond, enamoured. ప్రీతిగల. అనురక్తుడు n. He who loves, he who is fond of అసక్తుడు, ప్రీతిగలవాడు.

(p. 82) arucu or అరచు aruṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To cry, shout, bawl. బొబ్బలుపెట్టు, కూయు, మొరపెట్టు, ఏడ్చు. అరుపు or అరుపు arupu. [Tel. from అరుచు.] n. A great or loud noise, clamour, cry. కూత, కేక.

(p. 133) indruḍu indruḍu. [Skt.] n. Indra, the god of the sky corresponding to the Roman Jupiter armed with thunder-bolts and noted for his amours. In composition the word denotes excellence. గజేంద్రము or గజేంద్రుడు a noble elephant.

(p. 233) kaṭnamu kaṭnamu. [Tel.] n. A present giving to a ruler, or given by relations to each other at a marriage, &c. A fee, a gift. కట్నము చదివించుట to proclaim the amount of contributions.

(p. 284) kilakila kila-kila. [Tel.] n. Din, hubbub, clamour, uproar, as of a marching host. Twittering, as of birds: any confused sound. కిలకిల్లాడు, కిలకిలలాడు to be clamorous కిలకిలధ్వనిచేయు.

(p. 304) kūyu kūyu. [Tel. from కూ anuk] v. n. To cry, exclaim, to make noise. To clamour, yell. To bark, bray, crow, mew, croak, call, sing, shriek, hoot, as an owl. అరచు. కూయు kūyi n. A cry. కూత, మొర. Protection. రక్షణము. 'పనులకు గూయిగా జనియెబాపడు' భార. నిరా. v.

(p. 324) kolupu kolupu. [Tel.] v. n. To agree, to consent సమ్మతించు. 'క మనసుకొలుపదనకి నిపుడు.' భార. భీష్మ. iii. To be agreeable సరిపడు. 'గీ హీనమతికి బుద్ధులేలకొలుపు' పంచ. నా. i. Used as the causal form of కొను. దరికొలుపు to set on fire. మేల్కొలుపు to awaken, to rouse. వురికొలుపు to stir up. మరులుకొలుపు to enamour. ఉపికొలుపు to hiss. కొలుపు n. A rustic holiday: the festival of the Sakti or village goddess.
