(p. 519) tāntrikamu tāntrikamu. [Skt.] adj. Relating to the Tantras or unorthodox scriptures. Unscriptural, apocryphal, sophistical as opposed to వేదాంతము or అర్షము scriptural. తాంత్రికపు ఉపనయనము a loose performance of the rite of upanayanam. See on తంత్రము. తాంత్రికుడు tāntrikudu. n. One versed in the Tantras. A sophist, a freethinker or materialist.

(p. 580) dabbara dabbara. [Tel.] n. A falsehood. బొంకు. Cheating, deception. A delusion మోసము. A calamity, harm, విపత్తు. దబ్బరలాడు to deal in falsehoods. వాని కాలికి దబ్బర అయినది his leg has been injured. దబ్బరపాట్లు feigned blows: mere pretence. దబ్బరకాడు or దబ్బరి a liar. దబ్బరకత్తె or దబ్బరి a deceitful woman. adj. False, spurious, apocryphal. దబ్బర వెంట్రుకలు false locks.

(p. 686) pañca pancha. [Skt.] adj. Large, big, as పంచాస్యము or పంచాననము lit: 'huge mouthed,' i.e., a lion. పంచగడ్డము a great beard. పంచడబ్బు a mere fiction. (this name is given to apocryphal poems that are not grounded on any classical tradition as the మైరావణచరిత్ర, శతముఖరామాయణము, కృష్ణార్జున సంవాదము, జైమినిభారతము.

Own, self, individual. ఆత్మీయమైన. తన. స్వకాయకష్టము bodily labour, individual exertions, స్వకపోలకల్పితము lit. invented in one's own head; original, not borrowed, as an idea, apocryphal, as a story made out of one's own head, అబద్ధమైన, లేనిపోని, స్వకార్యము one's own affair, one's onw peculiar duty, తనపని, స్వకార్యధురంధరుడు a selfish man. one's own family, dependents, relations, people, friends. బంధువులు, పంజనము, స్వజనుడు a relation, a friend, బంధువు. జ్ఞాతి. సగోత్రుడు, స్నేహితుడు స్వజాతి one's own class or nation, one's own kind, తనకులము. స్వజాతివైరి an enemy of one's kind.
