A canopy, or triumphal arch, an ornamented booth for an idol. చలువచప్పరపుకోళ్లమంచము a comfortable bed decked out with a coverlet, tilt and pillars. చలువజ్యోతి ṭsaluva-jyōti. n. A poetical word for the moon.

(p. 493) ḍābā ḍābā. [Tel.] n. The cornice of a pillar, the projecting gallery round the top of a tower; the crest of a bastion. బోడిమిద్దె, ఉన్నతముగాకట్టబడ్డ గృహవిశేషము. A terraced roof, opposed to a pent roof.

(p. 529) timmaḍu or తిమ్మన్న timmadu. [Tel. from తిరుమల+డు.] A name of a monkey, like Jacko or Pug: the feminine is తిమ్మ. తిమ్మనబంతి timmana-banti. n. A monkey's dinner party, a riotous scene. పొట్టితిమ్మడి జొన్న the inferior bastard grain that grows rapidly.
