(p. 557) toṭṭi toṭṭi. [Tel.] n. A tub, vat, trough, or manager. A sort of seat on an elephant. పల్లకీతొట్టి the frame work of a palanquin, under the bedding. తొట్టికట్టు toṭṭikaṭṭu. n. A part or division of a mansion. The square left unroofed in the centre of a Hindu house. లోగిలి. కూతురికి రెండు తొట్టికట్ల యిల్లు యిచ్చినాడు he gave to his daughter a large house containing two large divisions. తొట్టిబండి toṭṭi-banḍi. n. A bullock cart.

(p. 691) pakka or ప్రక్క pakka. [Tel. from పడు. & short for పడక.] n. A side, quarter or direction. పార్శ్వము. A bed or bedding, పక్కదుప్పటి a bed sheet. పక్కవేసుకొనే బొంత a bed cloth or quilt. adj. Near, next, neighbouring. పక్క యిల్లు the neighbouring house. పక్కపండ్లు the side teeth. పక్కబలము an auxiliary force; assistance, help. ఇరుపక్కలు both sides. పక్కగాపోవు to go aside. పక్కపోట్లుపొడుచు to tickle one in the ribs; to elbow, to harass. పక్కయెముక pakka-y-emuka. n. A rib. పక్కశూల or పక్కనొప్పి liver complaint.

(p. 1287) sakina , సకినె or సగిన sakina. [from Skt. శకునము.] n. An artificial bird, the figure of a bird. కృత్రిమపక్షి, కిర్రుబిళ్ల. A doll, బొమ్మ. A chirping noise, కీచుకీచుమనుధ్వని. 'తెలిముత్తియంపుబల్, సకిసెలకూకలం గిలకిలన్నగు మోహన శయ్యనున్నెడన్.' Vasu. vi. 111. టీ సకల =కీచుబిళ్ల 'సకినలతలగడల్ చప్పుడైననుతోనకవకివల్ గొణుగుపావురపుజోళ్లు.' N. ix. 482. టీ సకినెలతలగడలు, ఒత్తితే కుంఞ్ కుంఞ్ అనే పీకబిళ్లలుంచిన దిండ్లలు. సకినల మంచము sakinala-manṭsamu. n. A bedding formed on a frame of wood, having orifices covered with perforated brass buttons that make a whistling or squeaking sound, గిలకలపట్టెమంచము. కోళ్లు బొమ్మలుగా చేసిన మంచము. 'ఈగ వ్రాలిన నందంద యెలుగులొసగునట్టి, సకిలమంచములు.' Swa. vi. 3. 'పచ్చలరచించిన చిల్కల కోళ్లనందమౌసకి నేలపట్టెమంచమున.' H. i. 73. సకినము sakinamu. [from Skt. శకునము.] n. An omen. సకినంపుబులుగు a bird of omen, an owl. కనకాక్షిగూబ, పైడికంటి.
