(p. 521) tāṭiñcu tāṭinṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To flutter, wriggle or flounder: to mouth or move the cheeks in munching. కుక్క చెవులు తాటించినది the dog cocked his ears. పక్షి రెక్కలు తాటించినది the bird fluttered its wings. కాళ్లుతాటించు to kick. v. a. To pat or beat softly, to strike, as a breeze; to slap, buffet. కొట్టు.

(p. 1038) moṭṭu moṭṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To rap with the knuckles. తలమీద వ్రేళ్లకణువులతో కొట్టు. మొట్టికాయ or మొట్టు moṭṭi-kāya. n. A rap with the knuckles, a buffet, a cuff. వ్రేళ్లకణుపులతో కొట్టుదెబ్బ. మొట్లమారి moṭla-māri. n. One who often gets cuffed, మొట్టికాయలుతినువాడు.
