(p. 230) kaṭṭa kaṭṭa. [Tel from కట్టు] n. A bank or shore; a dam or embankment. A bundle or pack. నీరుకట్ట a certain water snake, thick, black and harmless. కొంటె పాడెకట్ట a reprobate, a foul mouthed wretch. 'కట్టలుకట్టి' (BD. v. 132.) In crowds. గుంపుల కూడి.

(p. 243) kannāku kannāku. [Tel. కన్ను+ఆకు.] n. The spoke of a spinning wheel, which, being the last put in, keeps the rest all tight. The outside leaf in a bundle of betal leaves. The finishing bit or corner stone; that which keeps all the rest right. A noble or excellent person. రక్షకుడు; ముఖ్యుడు, అగ్రేసరుడు. M. VI. i. 92.

(p. 438) caṅka ṭsanka. [Tel.] n. The armpit. బాహుమూలము, కక్షము. The gill of a fish. చంకకాళ్లు crutches. చంకతాళి ṭsanka-tāli. n. A bundle or load hanging down under the armpit. చంకను తగిలించుకొను మూట.

(p. 417) cippamu or చిప్పెము chippamu. [Tel.] n. A large bundle. పెద్దమూట.

(p. 423) cīḍu chīḍu. [Tel.] n. A skein or bundle of seven punjums or a hundred threads. చీడుదబ్బ chīḍu-dabba. n. An instrument used by weavers for winding the thread. మాలి చీడు తగిలించుటకు వెదురుబద్దలతో గుమ్మటమువలె కట్టబడిన సాలెవానిసాధనము.

(p. 453) coppa ṭsoppa. [Tel.] n. The straw of maize and other plants. చొప్పకాడి a bundle of straw చొప్పమోపు.

(p. 559) toḍugara or తొడుగర్ర toḍu-gara. (తొడుగు+కర్ర.) n. A bundle of thorny brushwood. ముండ్లలకంపమోపు. 'మంచపు తొడుగరలైరట్టె.' మంచమునకంటుకొనిపోయిరి. Swa. iii. 166.

(p. 585) dastaramu or దస్త్రము dastaramu. [H.] n. A bundle of papers tied together in a cloth, a portfolio, a budget. కాగితాలకట్ట.

(p. 591) diṇḍu dinḍu. [Tel.] n. A bundle, pillow, cushion or bolster. తలగడ. A belt, a girdle, దట్టి. A sheaf of corn. A bag of money. The nave or centre of a wheel: A cylinder. గుండ్రని తలగడవలె నుండుమ్రాను. Any thing cylindrical. అరిటిదిండు or అరిటిబొందె the stump of a plantain tree. adj. Much, fiercely: as దిండురుకు to rush furiously. దిండీదు dind-īdu. n. One who wears a belt. కాసెకట్టినవాడు. దిండుపడు dinḍu-paḍu. v. n. To faint, be exhausted.

(p. 610) dontara or దొంతి dontara. [Tel.] n. A series. వరుస. A heap, or set of things, as a pile of pots or cups and saucers. adj. Lying in a series, వరుసగానున్న. adv. In a pile or heap. దొంతరముద్దులు kiss upon kiss. దొంతరజల్లిబొంత a patched quilt. దొంతరవిడెము betel leaves strung together. దొంతరగావేసిన strung, piled. పెంకులను దొంతరలుగాపేర్చు to pile up the tiles in rows. వలపులదొంతి she was a 'bundle' of charms. దొంతిగా tier over tier, range over range.

(p. 675) netti or నెత్తికాయ netti. [Tel.] n. The head. వాని నెత్తిమీద రాయి యెత్తినాడు. he has got him into a scrape. వాని నెత్తిమీద తన్నినారు they trampled him under foot. నెత్తిగోడ netti-gōḍa. n. The gable end of a house. నెత్తిమూట a bundle carried on the head.

(p. 754) piḍe or పిడెము piḍe. [Tel.] n. A bundle or a clump (of bamboos) వెదురుపొద, గుంపుగా మొలచియుండు వెదురులు. See పిడియము, under పిడి.

(p. 804) poṭlamu poṭlamu. [Tel.] n. A packet, pack, bundle, little bag, paper or case to hold perfume, powder or medicine: medicine tied up in a cloth for the purpose of formentation. A crowd, గుంపు. An army, సేన. పొట్లమొత్తు to apply a fomentation. వారందరు నొకపొట్లముగానున్నారు all of them are in one cluster.
