The castor oil tree, palma christi, or, ricinus communis. పెద్దాముదము a species or castor oil used for lamps. చిట్టి ఆముదము a more gentle purging oil used for infants. కొండ ఆముదము, or అడవి ఆముదము or నేపాళము a plant, Baliospermum montunum (Watts.)

(p. 416) cinuku or చిన్కు chinuku. [Tel.] n. A drop, a sprinkling చినుకులుపడుచున్నవి it is drizzling. చినుకు v. n. To be shed, or diffused, to fall in drops కారు; to be increased as a passion, or desire అతిశయించు. చినుకుపూస a pearl ముత్యము. A drop of rain.

(p. 416) cinugu chinugu. [Tel.] v. n. To be torn. చినిగినది it is torn. n. A rent or tear.

(p. 418) ciratapakṣi or చిరుతపక్షి chirata-pakshi. [Tel.] (lit. The castanet bird:) n. The Golden-backed Woodpecker. Brachypternnus aurantius. పచ్చచిరుతపక్షి the Little Scaly-beiled Green Woodpecker, Gecinus striolatus. పెద్దచిరుతపక్షి and చిన్నచిరుతపక్షి are other species.
