To suffer or meet with (joy, grief, death, &c.) చెయ్యి చాచి పుచ్చుకొను, పొందు. అరుదందు feel surprise.భయమందు to be afraid. జన్మమందు to be born. వియ్యమందు to intermarry. అందిచూచు to peep, to look over a wall, &c. దుఃఖమందు to be sorry. కృతి అందినవాడు he to whom it is dedicated కంపమందు to be afraid. మిన్నందిన sky-high, reaching to the clouds. అందిపొందినవారు distant kinsfolk. అందించు [causal of అందు to reach.] v. t. (p. 73) abhramu abhramu. [Skt.] n. The sky, a cloud. ఆకాశము, మేఘము. అభ్రంకషము heaven-kissing, sky-touching. అభ్రగము abhragamu. [Skt.] n. A sky-rover, i.e., a bird. పక్షి. అభ్రగపతి the eagle as being the king of birds. గరుడుడు. అభ్రమణి abhra-maṇi. [Skt.] n. The gem of the sky, i.e., the sun. సూర్యుడు.

(p. 103) astamayamu or అస్తమానము astamayamu. [Skt.] n. Sunset, evening. ప్రొద్దుక్రుంకడము. ఇసుక కమ్ముకొని లోకమంతా అస్తమానమైనట్టున్నది clouds of sand obscured the face of nature. అస్తమించు astamiṭsu. v. n. To set, to draw towards evening. ప్రొద్దుక్రుంకు మబ్బుకమ్ముకొని లోకము అస్తమించినట్టున్నది the world is enveloped in shade. అస్తమితము astamitamu. adj. Set, as the sun. క్రుంకిన. అస్తము astamu. [Skt.] adj. Set, cast, thrown, disappeared, lost, gone. క్రుంకిన, పోయిన, మరుగైపోయిన, అస్తబలుడు he who is exhausted. అస్తము n. An imaginary mountain in the west behind which the sun is believed to set. అస్తాచలము, అస్తాద్రి astachalamu. n. The western mountain. అస్తమయపర్వతము.

(p. 109) āgaḍapalu āgaḍapalu. [Tel.] n. A range of clouds. మొగిలుదొంతి, మబ్బులసన్నపు దొంతరలు.

(p. 111) āḍambaramu āḍambaramu. [Skt.] n. Pomp, grandeur. Vain display: abortive arrogance. The onset of battle: the charge; the sound of trumpets. యుద్ధవాద్యధ్వని. మేఘాడంబరము the display of clouds. ఆ యింట్లో ఏమో ఆడంబరము గానున్నది there is some stir in that house.

(p. 226) kandharamu kandharamu. [Skt.] n. The throat: a cloud. మెడ, మబ్బు. Vasu. v. 54.

(p. 231) kaṭṭu kaṭṭu. [Tel.] v. n. To cease or stop, gather or form as clouds or a boil, or lump; to be with young (used of animals.) భేది కట్టినది the diarrhoea ceased. మబ్బులుకట్టినవి clouds have gathered. నెత్తురు వెల్లువకట్టినది there was a gush of blood వానికి దెబ్బతగిలి నెత్తురు కట్టినది he received a contusion from a blow. గడ్డలుకట్టిన congealed, become hard. తూటుకట్టినది there is a hole formed.

(p. 238) kadambamu or కదంబకము kadambamu. [Skt.] n. A mixture. మిశ్రము. An assembly, a collection గుంపు, సముదాయము. A garland of various flowers, a mixture of divers things, a miscellany. బాణకదంబకము a flight or cloud of arrows. నృపాలకదంబము an assembly of kings. A certain flowering plant called Nauclea Cadamba. మొగులు కడిమి. ఆవాలు. రుద్రాక్షకదంబము Anthocephalus Cadamaba (Watts.) కదంబపొడి kadamba-poḍi. n. Pouncet.
