[Skt.] As small as an atom. అణుజాలము aṇu-jālamu. [Skt.] A collection or multitude of atoms. అణుమధ్య a slender waisted girl. అణువృహి aṇuvrihi. [Skt.] Name of a fine sort of rice. అణ్వంతము aṇvantamu. [Skt.] A hair splitting question.

(p. 68) abvābu abvābu. [H.] n. (Lit. Doors, chapters.) Miscellaneous revenue accounts. 'The usual heads in Revenue accounts are Mal and Abwab. The Mal or Regular revenue is collected on land and customs, including taxes on liquors, &c The Abwab, or Miscellaneous includes the difference of exchange (often considerable) between that of the market and the fixed rate at which the revenue of the district is paid, casual aid or support of the Government officers, fees to the shroff, and contributions to various feasts.' (p. 74) amāni amānī. [H.] Land in charge of a revenue collector on the part of the government, as distinguished from that which is farmed out. అమానీగ్రామములు villages under the immediate care of a collector. ఆముఠా అమానీ అయిన తరువాత after the land was taken into the collector's own charge. ఆశ్రోత్రియమును అమానీదాఖలు చేసుకొన్న తరువాత after the land held on private tenure was taxed. అమానిభూములు Crown lands, lands that are in the hands of a collector on behalf of Government. అమానీబాజీబాబు sundry farms under a Collector's management. పన్ను లేకుండా మేడిపాలు ఇచ్చే భూమి.

(p. 104) asthi asthi. [Skt.] n. A bone. ఎముక. అస్థిగతము in the bones, అస్థిగతజ్వరము or అస్థిజ్వరము slow fever, an internal fever. అస్థినిక్షేపము the rite of depositing the bones of the dead at a holy place. అస్థిపంజరము a skeleton, lit. a cage of bones. అస్థిభంగము fracture of the bones. అస్థిసంచయనము collecting the bones after the burning of a corpse. అస్థిసారము marrow.

(p. 117) āmmu āmamu. [Skt.] adj. Raw, unripe, undressed. పచ్చి, పండని, వండబడని: ఆమశ్రాద్ధము n. A funeral rite celebrated by giving unboiled rice, &c. to Brahmins. ఆమము n. Mucus, bad secretions of the bowels. ఆమకట్టు a collection of mucus. ఆమచలనము dysentery.

(p. 258) kaliyu or కలియు kaliyu. [Tel.] v. n. To mix, join, mingle. To collect, assemble. To coalesce. To agree, correspond, match. To be included in, to fall under. To set to work, being to do. దిక్కులు కలియచూచి looking all round. దృష్టి కలిసినప్పుడు when our eyes met. అతనిభూమిలో కలిసినస్థలము a spot included in his land. ఆ దారి ఇక్కడ కలియుచున్నది that road meets here. సభ కలిపినది, or సభ కలిసిపోయినది the assembly has broken up or adjourned: కలియగలుపు kaliya-galupa n. Familiarity, affability. కలియగలుపుగానుండే familiar, easy, affable. కలియబడు kaliya-baḍu v. n. To meddle with. To rush, fall (upon enemies) వాండ్లు మామీద కలియబడ్డారు they rushed upon us. To become entangled. 'అరుతసరులుకలియంబడుచు.' B. viii. 457. కలియబెట్టు. kaliya-beṭṭu. v. a. To mix, to stir.
