Hence మూడువేల గ్రంథము means a book of about 3000 lines. అది యెంత గ్రంథము what is the extent of that work? ఇక్కడ గ్రంథముపోయినట్టు సందేహము or ఇక్కడ గ్రంథము లోపమయినది the manuscript appears to be defective in this passage. గ్రంథకర్త grantha-karta. n. The author of a book. గ్రంథకుటి a writing room వ్రాసేగది. గ్రంథనము granthanamu. n. Stringing together, composing, a series. రచన, కూర్పు. గ్రంథభాష grantha-bhāsha. n. (p. 487) ṭ ṭa. The name of a letter. In composition this is sometimes changed into డ thus చేటుపాటు chēṭu-pāṭu. becomes ఛేడ్పాటు chēḍ-pāṭu. Colloquially it changes into ష. Thus అటువంటి, అఘవంటి as, in English, intention is pronounced intenshun. This letter ట is sometimes inserted to prevent elision. ఉప్పు+ఏరు (uppu-ēru) becomes ఉప్పుటేరు (uppu-ṭē-ru.) a salt river. పెంకు+ఇల్లు, పెండుటిల్లు. This may happen even where the first word is Sanskrit, thus: మదపుటేనుగు.
