Force, violence. బలవంతము, బలాత్కారము, కదలమెదలగూడనికట్టు. నన్ను చేవ్రాలు చేయుమని నిర్భంధముచేసినారు they forced me to sign it. నిర్బంధపుకైదు close confinement. నిర్బంధించు, నిర్బంధముచేయు or నిర్బంధపెట్టు nir-bandhinṭsu. v. a. To force, press, to lay violent hands upon. To constrain or oppress: to persist in, or insist on.

(p. 852) prōddāmamu prōddāmamu. [Skt. ప్ర +ఉద్దామము.] adj. Set free, unbound, unconstrained, self-willed. విచ్చలవిడియైన, నిరంకుశమైన. 'మహావృక్షముల్, ప్రోద్ధామస్థితి పెల్లగించె నచటన్ బొల్పొందుమత్తేభముల్.' Tara. ii. 27. ప్రోద్దామత prōddāmata. Unconstrained power, a self-willed disposition. విచ్చలవిడి, నిరంకుశత.

The neck, కంఠము, గళము. మెడమీది జందెము the Brahminical cord worn over the shoulder. మెడకొంకులు the collar bones. మెడనుకట్టు to tie on the neck, i.e., to oblige, to constrain. ఈ ముసలిదానిని నామెడను కట్టిపోయినాడు he left the old woman as a weight upon my neck. మెడబట్టినూకు to push by the neck. మెడనులిగాడు meḍa-nuli-gāḍu. n. The bird called the Wryneck. మెడనూలు meḍa-nūlu. n.
