Consultation, consideration, reflection, counsel, policy, deliberation, plan, intent, purpose, motive, imagination, supposition, advice, view, intention. ఆలోచనకు తెచ్చు to weigh, consider, view, regard. ఆలోచించు ālōchinṭsu. v. a. To think, view, consider. consult, deliberate, suppose or reflect.

One who is worthy, deserving or fit. అర్హుడు. యోగ్యుడు. ఆయనదయకు పాత్రుడనైతిని I was found worthy of enjoying his favour. వారు దండనకు పాత్రులైరి they were guilty, they were deserving of punishment. A king's counsellor or minister. మంత్రి. 'కోటలో గజపతివారు తమతట్టునుండిన పాత్రసామంతులను కొందరు మన్నెపువారినిని ఠాణా ఉంచినారు.' పాత్రసామంతులు means principal servants. A title assumed by the members of a particular caste of Sudras in Ganjam and Orissa, as భోగన్నహేత్రుడు, వీరన్న పాత్రు డు, &c.

(p. 911) bōdha or బోధము bōdha. [Skt.] n. Wisdom, intellect, understanding, awaking, arousing; teaching, instruction, doctrine, తెలియడము, తెలివి, జ్ఞానము. 'బోధకళమాన్పెన్ మోహవిభ్రాంతి.' Swa. ii. 37. టీ బోదకళ, నిరంతరజాగ్రత. 'పుత్రకునివాక్య విస్ఫురద్బోధమునకు, తల్లిదండ్రులు సంతోషముల్లసిల్ల.' H. i. 208. బోధకుడు bōdhakuḍu. n. A teacher, preacher, instructor: బోధించువాడు, ఉపాధ్యాయడు, గురువు. బోధపడు bōdha-paḍu. v. n. To be known, to be understood, to become intelligible. ఆకళింతకువచ్చు. అది నాకు బోధపడినది or బోధఅయినది I understand it. బోధపరుచు bōdha-paruṭsu. v. a. To teach, explain, or make intelligible. బోధన or బోధనము bōdhana. n. Teaching, informing, awaking, arousing, counsel. వాని బోధన వినవద్దు I do not listen to his counsel. బోధ్యము or బోధనీయము bōdhyamu. adj. Fit to be taught. బోధింపదగిన. బోధించు or బోధచేయు bōdhinṭsu. v. a. To teach, to explain, to inform, తెలియజేయు. To persuade, advise, admonish, induce, నేర్పు వానికి బోధచేసేశక్తి లేదు he is unable to convey his knowledge, i.e., to teach. బోధితుడు bōdhituḍu. n. (p. 936) mantramu mantramu. [Skt.] n. A sacred text or hymn. A verse sacred to some deity, used as a prayer. A spell, a charm, incantation. జాలవిద్య. (p. 975) māma māma. [from Skt. మామక.] n. A father-in-law. Also, a mother's brother, మేనమామ. The same title is bestowed equally on the brothers of a father-in-law, as పినమామగారు, పెద్దమామగారు. The phrase శకునిమామ denotes 'Uncle Sakuni,' i.e., an evil counsellor. Sakuni was the maternal uncle of Duryōdhana. మామమామ an epithet of Vishnu, as he married Lakshmi the daughter of the Sea (సముద్రుడు) whose wife (Ganges) is related to him as a daughter, లక్ష్మీదేవిని పెండ్లాడినందున తనకు మామయైన సముద్రునికి పెండ్లామగు గంగాదేవి తనకు కూతురువరుస అగుటచేత విష్ణువు సముద్రునికి మామ అయ్యెను.

(p. 1058) yōcana yōchana. [Skt.] n. Consideration, deliberation, reflection; an idea, supposition, conjecture; counsel, advice; an expedient, means, plan. ఆలోచన. H. v. 272. యోచించు yōchinṭsu. v .n. & a. To consider, regard, deliberate, plan, devise. ఆలోచించు. ధర్మము యోచించక regardless of justice.

(p. 1324) sāmavāyikuḍu sāmavāyikuḍu. [Skt.] n. A principal minister or counsellor. The chief of a company or corporation. మంత్రి, ముఖ్యుడు.

(p. 1377) svāti svāti. [Skt.] n. Arcturus, the fifteenth lunar asterism. చిత్తకు అవలలినక్షత్రము, పదిహేనో నక్షత్రము. స్వాతికర్తి the fifteenth counstellation in which the sun happens to be for thirteen days in the month of October or November. స్వాతి చిప్పలు the oysters that gaps expecting drops of rain in Swāti. తమ రాక కొరకు స్వాతిచిప్పలవలె నోరు తెరచుకొని యున్నాము we look out with thirsty expectation for your arrival. స్వాతికొంగలు a kind of cranes or storks which emigrate in this month. స్వాతివాన genial showers supposed to impregnate oysters with pearls. 'స్వాతిబకంబులవీకను.' H. iii. 52. 'స్వాతి కృష్టిగురి యజనించి.' H. ii. 171.
