(p. 325) kosa kosa. [Tel.] n. A tip or end. The border or selvege. కొసగలముత్తెము a pear shaped pearl. కొసగా slanting. కొసరు kosaru. [Tel.] v. n. To demand an article over and above, or into the bargain. To be greedy. To be eager for. To hesitate. సంకోచించు. v. t. To pray ప్రార్థించు. కొసరించు kosar-inṭsu. n. To demand more; to be exorbitant. n. Eagerness, lust, greediness, pruriency, hankering, cupidity; what is demanded over and above; what is asked into the bargain. Desire, cupidity కోరిక. Prayer ప్రార్థనము. Hesitation సంకోచము. 'కొంకు కొసరించుకయులేక' without the least hesitation or fear.

(p. 740) pāmaramu pāmaramu. [Skt.] adj. Common or ordinary. Low, base, undignified. vulgar, stupid, senseless, illiterate. Lustful, cupidinous, avaricious. n. Nonsense, folly. దలానిమీది పామరము వానికి ఇంకా వదలలేదు he has not yet ceased to dote on her. ద్రవ్యము మీది పామరము చెడ్డది it is miserable to have the heart set upon money. A sort of plant. నీళ్లపామరము Myriophyllum tetrandrum. Rox. i. 451. పామరుడు pāmaruḍu. n. A common or ignorant man. an illiterate man, అజ్ఞుడు. A wretch. a sinner. నీచుడు.

(p. 1114) lōbhamu lōbhamu [Skt.] n. Covetousness, cupidity, avarice, eagerness; miserliness, stinginess. పిసినితనము. లోభి lōbhi. n. A miser, a covetous or a greedy man. పిసినిగొట్టు, పిసినారిగొడ్డు, ఆశాపాతకుడు. లొభిత్వము lōbhitvamu. n. Covetousness. పిసినారితనము.

(p. 1114) lōla lōla. [Skt.] n. A crone, beldame, wretch. లోల or లోలము lōla. adj. Trembling, wavering moving, shaking, tremulous, unsteady. చంచలము, కదులునట్టి. Wishing very much, desiring greatly, greedy. ఆశగల, మిక్కిలి ఇచ్ఛగల. లోలత్వము or లౌల్యము lōlatvamu. n. Wish, desire. తృష్ణ, ఆశ. Shaking, moving, చాంచల్యము. 'వివేకికేక జనియించున్ లౌల్యమిందున్.' A. iii. 68. 'టీ లౌల్యము, తృష్ణ. 'మెల్లన నడవందొడంగు ఘనలౌల్యపు చూపుల చూచు.' H. ii. 113. లోలలోచన or లోలాక్షి lōla-lōchana. n. A girl with roll ing eyes or a swimming glance, చంచలాక్షి, లోలుడు lōluḍu. n.
