(p. 250) karatāḷamu kara-tāḷamu. [Skt.] n. The small leaved palm tree (as distinguished from శ్రీతాళము.) A musical instrument, a cymbal. Beating time by clapping the hands.

(p. 1401) giragiṭalu or గిర్గటలు gira-giṭalu. [Tel.] n. plu. A kind of cymbals అడునవుడు వాయించెడు తాళము.

(p. 412) ciṭi or చిట్టి chiṭi. [Tel.] adj. Little. చిటివేలు the little finger. చిటిచాప a small mat. చిటితాళము chiṭi-tāḷamu n. A small cymbal. చిటిపొటి chiṭi-poṭi. adj.
