A wicked man. దిట్టపడుdiṭṭa-paḍu. v. n. To fit, answer. To be stout or trim. To be verified, come true, be fulfilled. దిట్టపరచు diṭṭa-paraṭsu. v. a. To regulate, order, ordain, trim, establish, ratify. దిట్టము diṭṭamu. n. Firmness, stoutness, tenacity, tightness, good order. దృఢత్వము. A statute or order, నిర్ణయము. దిట్టముచేయు to arrange, settle. అతడు అరవకుండా దిట్టముచేసినారు they took precautions against his crying out. A scheme; a statement showing what land each man cultivates and the respective assessment. దిట్టము adj. Settled, arranged. Firm, stout, tenacious, solid, tight, orderly. దిట్టము an affix. To order, command, ordain, prescribe, allot, adjudge, assign. ఆజ్ఞాపించు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు, కట్టడచేయు. వానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము విధించినారు they appointed him a penance. ఈ శీక్ష విధింపబడినది this punishment was awarded. యాభైరూపాయలు అపరాధము (లేక, జులమానా) విధించినారు they sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs. 50. విధ్యుక్తము vidh-yuktamu. adj. Prescribed, legal, యథావిధియైన. విధ్యుక్తముగా vidh-yuktamu-gā. adv. Legally, in proper form or manner, యథావిధిగా.

(p. 1198) vihitamu vi-hitamu. [Skt.] adj. Ordered, prescribed, ordained, విధింపబడిన. Fit, proper, right, orderly, necessary. Friendly, intimate. Placed, deposited. Done, made. యుక్తమైన, అనుకూలమైన, ఉంచబడ్డ, చేయబడ్డ. వారిగ్రామములు దోచుట విహితముకాదని considering that it is not proper for use to plunder their villages. 'ఇమ్మహాభారతంబిమ్ముల బాయకవిహితావధానులైవినుచునుండువారికి.' M. I. i. 114. విహితము vi-hitamu. n. Friendship, intimacy. Propriety, fitness, justice. స్నేహము, యుక్తము, న్యాయము. అది విహితమే that is proper. అది విహితము కాదు that is not proper. విహితముగా vi-hitamu-gā. adv. In a friendly manner, on good terms, స్నేహముగా, అనుకూలముగా. విహితుడు vi-hituḍu. n. A friend, companion, ally. స్నేహితుడు, అనుకూలుడు. తమకు విహితులైనవారు those who are your friends.

(p. 1270) saṅkētamu sankētamu. [Skt.] n. An appointment, agreement, compact, engagement, ఏర్పాటు, ఒడబాటు, నిష్కర్ష, నిర్ణయము. A provision, a matter or point previously arranged. A sign or signal, a token or intimation, generally without words; a nod, wink, beck, indicative gesture, గురుతు, సంజ్ఞ. A name, పేరు. A place of assignation, a rendezvous, ముందుగా మాట్లాడి నిష్కర్షచేసికొన్న స్థలము. A. v. 135. 'సంకేతంబులనుండక.' Swa. iii. 45. adj. Appointed, fixed, ordained, stipulated, contracted for, agreed upon. నిర్ణీతమైన, నిష్కర్షచేయబడిన, ఏర్పరచుకోబడిన. సంకేతనామము a technical name, a name agreed upon but different from the real name. సంకేతపదము a technica l word, a technicality. సంకేతస్థలము or సంకేతస్థానము a place of rendezvous, a place of assignation. నిర్ణయించుకొన్న చోటు. సంకేతించు sankētinṭsu. v. a. To appoint, assign, fix, contract for, agree upon, నిష్కర్షచేయు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు. To give a name to, పేరుపెట్టు. 'వెరవకసంకేతించిన తెరగున నయ్యెడకునరుగుదెంచు.' M. IV. ii. 282. సంకేతితము sankētitamu. adj. Appointed, fixed, ordained, stipulated, contracted for, agreed upon, నిష్కర్షచేయబడిన, నిర్ణయించబడిన, ఏర్పరుచుకొన బడిన.

(p. 1344) surāḷiñcu or సురళించు surāḷinṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To wave a lamp or a cup of burning camphor, &c., before an idol, or over a person to avert an evil eye. నీరాజనముచేయు, దృష్టిదోషపరిహారార్థము దిగదుడుచు. To throw away in disdain, నిరాకరించు. 'అర్భకునెత్తుకొనిభూతభయనివారణంబు గాగోపుచ్ఛంబు సురాళించు గోమయంబునందిలకంబుబెట్టి.' Vish. vii. 109. 'కడమపుదండ లెల్ల నొక్కటి గబట్టి బాలకవుడు సురాళించిపారవైచె.' KP. vii. 76. సురాళము surāḷamu. n.
