(p. 689) paṇḍuga, paṇḍugu, paṇḍuva or పండువు panḍuga. [Tel.] n. A feast or festival, a treat. ఉత్సవము. దాన్ని చూడగా వానికన్నులకు పండుగ అయినది the sight of her was a feast to his eyes. ఇల్లలుకగానే పండుగ యగునా? does the decking of a house constitute a feast? చెవులపండువు a treat to the ears.

(p. 719) pariṣkariñcu parish-karinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To trim, deck, settle, arrange, adjust. To get through, finish: to make clear or evident; to decree, decide. చక్కబెట్టు. పరిష్కారము or పరిష్కరింపు parish-kāramu. n. A decision, finishing, settlement, adjustment, arrangement. చక్కబెట్టుట. Decoration, decking. తొడువు. ఆభరణము. పరిష్కృతము parish-kṛitamu. adj. Accomplished, settled, finished, arranged. చక్కబెట్టబడిన. Decorated. అలంకరింపబడిన. పరిష్కారముగా parish-kāramu-gā. adv. Clearly, distinctly, decidedly, flatly, definitively, positively, fully, utterly, wholly, completely, entirely, fitly, duly. పరిష్కారుడు parish-kāruḍu. n. One who is perfect. పూర్ణుడు. 'చాపనైపుణ పరిష్కారుండు.' R. v. 148.

(p. 1128) vathyamu vadhyamu. [Skt. from వధ] adj. Deserving death, condemned to die. చంపదగిన. 'కనుగొనివధ్యశృంగారంబుచేసి.' (BD. iv. 782.) decking out a victim for sacrifice, or adorning a culprit for the halter. వధ్యుడు vadhyuḍu. n. A culprit: one who is condemned to death, చంపదగినవాడు.
