(p. 137) ibbandi ibbandi. [Tel. ఇను+బంది] n. Strait, inconvenience, ambiguity. నిర్బంధము. తీర్థానికి ఇబ్బందిగానున్నది water is deficient or scarce. ఇబ్బందిగానుండే irksome. ఇబ్బంది పని a troublesome affiar. ఇబ్బందికాడు a troublesome fellow. Also, a mongrel tiger supposed to be begotten by a tiger on a leopard. ఇబ్బంది గుర్రము a horse of doubtful breed.

(p. 235) kaḍama kaḍama. [Tel.] n. The rest, remainder. శేషము. A deficit కొరత. Want, defect, deficiency. ఒక వరహా కడమ అయ్యె there was one pagoda wanting. కడమపడు kaḍama-paḍu. v. i. To be wanting, to be deficient. కొరతపడు, న్యూనమగు.

Deficient, defective, inferior, mean, contempitible, base, low. With a dative it means less: as కోసుకు తక్కువ less than two miles. ఇది ఒకటే తక్కువ this alone was wanting. అది యేమితక్కువ what harm? what matter? తక్కువమాటలు low expressions, improper language. ఎక్కువతక్కువగా adv. More or less. తక్కువపడు takkuva-paḍu. v. n. To be wanting, to be deficient, to be insufficient. కొరతపడు. తక్కువపాటు takkuva-pāṭu. n. Want, deficiency.

Applied to plants, it means Wild, uncultivated. పిచ్చిచెట్టు a weed. పిచ్చిచీర a wild cucumber. పిచ్చిమామిడి a wild mango. పిచ్చివాడు one who is mad. పిచ్చిరూపాయి a light or counterfeit rupee. వానిపని అంతా పిచ్చి పిచ్చి అయిపోయినది his business is gone to dogs. పిచ్చివాన rain that does no good. In weights the పిచ్చనేరు, లేక, కచ్చానేరు means the smaller or false quantity as opposed to పక్కానేరు the greater or true weight. పిచ్చిపట్టిన or పిచ్చపట్టిన pichchi-paṭṭina. adj. Mad, foolish. పిచ్చిపట్టు selfishness, లుబ్ధత్వము.

(p. 905) bokki bokki. [Tel.] adj. Defective, deficient in teeth, toothless. బొక్కినోటివాడు one who has lost his teeth. Fleshless, emaciated. బొక్కిరొమ్మువాడు a hollow-chested man. బొక్కిసొర్ర bokki-sorra. n. A sort of shark. Russell, No. XVI.

(p. 918) bharti or భర్తీ bharti. [H.] n. Fullness, completion, filling up. భర్తీచేయు bhartīchēyu. v. a. To fill up a deficiency.

(p. 1016) mūra mūra. [Tel.] n. The lower arm. The length of the forearm, a cubit. ఆ గుడ్డను మురవేసినాడు he measured the cloth with his arm or in cubits. ఈ బట్టకు మూరాలేదు వెడల్పూలేదు the cloth is deficient both in length and width. మూరకోక long cloth, బారచాపు. మూరకోల mūra-kōla. n.
