A chief, a baron, a lord, master, owner, ruler, kind, governor. ఏలువాడు, రాజు, గొప్పవాడు. A gentleman. మేటిదొర the chief lord. ప్రభువు. A great man, గొప్పవాడు. An equal, సమానుడు. దొరకడలు dora-kaḍalu. Nonsense, folly. దలానిమీది పామరము వానికి ఇంకా వదలలేదు he has not yet ceased to dote on her. ద్రవ్యము మీది పామరము చెడ్డది it is miserable to have the heart set upon money. A sort of plant. నీళ్లపామరము Myriophyllum tetrandrum. Rox. i. 451. పామరుడు pāmaruḍu. n. A common or ignorant man. an illiterate man, అజ్ఞుడు. A wretch. a sinner. నీచుడు.

(p. 835) prabha prabha. [Skt.] n. Light, radiance, brightness, splendour, వెలుగు, తేజస్సు, ప్రభావము. ప్రభాకరుడు prabhā-karuḍu. n. The maker of light, i.e., the sun. సూర్యుడు. ప్రభాతము prabhātamu. n. The dawn, or morning. ఉదయకాలము, తెల్లవారువేళ, వేకువ. ప్రభావము pra-bhāvamu. n. Majesty, dignity. మహాత్మ్యము, తేజస్సు.
