(p. 297) kuruca or కురచ kuruṭsa. [Tel.] adj. Little, short, stumpy, diminutive, dwarfish. కురుచ n. A sort of war dance: సాధనభేదమైన నాట్యము, సాముభేదము. కురుచవేల్పు kuruṭsa-vēlpu. n. The 'stumpy god,' Gaṇēsa. కురుచపడు kuruṭsa-paḍa. v. n. To become short, to be diminished. తగ్గు. See. కురు.

(p. 453) coppaḍu ṭsop-paḍu. [Tel. చొప్పు+పడు.] v. n. To be convenient. సరిపడు, అమరిఉండు. To proceed, follow a course. To accrue to, కలుగు, దొరకు. మాటలచొప్పడిన is she fell into conversation. కళలంజొప్పడు శశి the moon who is liable to diminution of light. సైల్యమును పొందుచంద్రుడు. 'వైద్యుడు నెప్పుడు నెడతెగకపారు నేరును ద్విజుడున్ చొప్పడినయూరనుండుము చొప్పడకున్నట్టి యూరు చొరకుము సుమతీ.' చొప్పరుచు or చొప్పరించు ṭsopparaṭsu. v. t. To cause to be convenient చొప్పడజేయు. See చొప్పు.

(p. 501) taggu taggu. [Tel.] v. n. To become less, to decrease, diminish fall (in price,) abate, తక్కువగు. To go back, withdraw, retire, వెనుకకుతీయు. తగ్గుమొగ్గులు taggu-moggulu. n. Ups and downs. తగ్గించు tagginṭsu. v. a. To lower, debase, degrade, తగ్గింపు taggimpu. n. A fall, sinking, diminution, reduction. A fall, in price. తగ్గు or తగ్గుదల taggu. n. (p. 1202) vīsamu vīsamu. [Tel.] n. The fraction called one sixteenth, the sixteenth part of anything. A grain of gold equal in weight to one grain of rice. వడ్లగింజయెత్తుబంగారము. వీసబడి or వీసుబడి vīsa-baḍi. (వీసము+బడి.) n. Cess or tax, levied on a town and then divided among several persons each of whom pays his share, a certain tax on the profits of a trade. గ్రామమునందు భాగప్రకారముకలిగిన భూస్వాతంత్య్రము. A ryotwari settlement. A measure of land equal nearly to two acres. వీసర or వీసరము vīsara. (వీసర+అర.) n. Want, defect, deficiency, diminution. కొరత, వెలితి. వీసరపడు or వీసరపోవు vīsara-paḍu. v. n. To be lacking, or deficient, వెలితిపడు. To fail, be fruitless. వ్యర్థమగు, కించిద్భంగమగు. 'కవికానకచేసినపుణ్యపాపముల్ విసరపోవు.' Dasarathi Ṣatakam.
