Middling, neither here nor there. నడమంతరపేరు an alias. నడమంతరపు ఐశ్వర్యమునకును వరము మీది పుండునకును చురుకు అధికము those who have recently become rich and an ulcer on a nerve give great trouble. నడమంతరముగా nada-mantaramu-gā. adv. Unexpectedly. నడుచొచ్చు naḍu-ṭsoṭsṭsu. v. n. To come in the middle, to interpose, నడుమ ప్రవేశించు. నడుదింపు naḍu-dimpu. n. The flesh in the loins. మాంసవిశేషము. నడుములో చెక్కు to pocket, because they stick a handkerchief, &c., in at the girdle. నడుముపడిన gone in the loins, broken down, debilitated. నడుము వదిలినది there was an emission of semen. నడుమ or నడమ naḍuma. adj. Middle, centrical. నడుమును. adj. and postp. In the middle, meanwhile,. through, between. ఈ నడుమ presently: (also) lately. ఆ నడుమ meantime. నడమ వచ్చినారు they came between or interposed; they came as messengers or representatives. నడుమ వచ్చినవానికి ఇంత అధికారమా is an interloper to presume thus? నడుమ మాట్లాడు to interrupt one while speaking: or to intercede, to mediate. నడాన or నడుమను nadāna. adv. In the middle; midway.

(p. 683) nokku nokku. [Tel.] v. a. To press, pinch, compress, squeeze. అదుము. To nip with the nails. To indent. N. IX. 363. రెండుకొమ్ములనొక్కి butting with the horns. నొక్కు or నొక్కుడు. n. A squeeze. An impression, or a dent, as with the tooth or nail. The tooth of a saw or clock wheel. A dimple or ripple.

(p. 760) pīcamu pīṭsamu. [Tel.] n. The chin, the lower jaw. కిందిపెదవి. A dimple in the chin, పెదవికిందిపల్లము. Pride, మదము, వాడిపీచమణచినాను I brought down his pride. A peacock's tail or train, పింఛము.

(p. 866) baddiñcu baddinṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To test a previous measurement (of land, &c.) to check, verify. సరిగానున్నదో లేదో చూచుటకు కొలిచినదే మరల కొలుచు. To rate, settle price, set a value on. To prune a tree. బద్దింపు baddimpu. n. The arithmetical process called Reduction. బద్దింపు తీర్చు to appraise or estimate.

(p. 1096) lagga lagga. [Tel.] n. An escalade, scaling, (ముట్టడించి) కోటపైకిపాకడము. లగ్గలెక్కు, లగ్గపట్టు or లగ్గలుపట్టు to scale a fort, ముట్టడి వేసి కోటనెక్కు. లగ్గదింపు lagga-dimpu. n. Assualt bafflers; (these were stones kept upon fortresses to be rolled down upon the besiegers.) కోటమీదనుంచి శత్రువులపైకి దొర్లించేబండలు.
