(p. 1398) irasālu or ఇర్సాలు irasālu. [H.] n. Sending, remittance. ఆ సామ్ము ఖజానాకు ఇరసాలు అయినది the money was remitted to the treasury.

(p. 139) irusālu or ఇర్సాలు iru-sālu. [H.] n. Sending, a remittance of money sent with a guard. The government money so sent. ఇరుసాలుచేయు to remit gold or silver. ఇర్సాలునామా an invoice of the sums sent and of the coins in which the payment is made.

(p. 144) īnu īnu. [Tel.] v. a. To give produce (as fields of grain.) To yean or bear (young.) To give forth, emit (sound, or splendour.) ఈనగాచి నక్కలపాలు చేసినట్టు all one's care is thrown away. మెరుగులీనిన emitting radiance. నేలయీనిన విధమున as though the earth calved.

(p. 158) udgāramu ud-gāramu. [Skt.] n. Vomiting, belching, emitting, exuding, gushing. కర్కట, తేపు. A. ii. 92. R. vi. 24. ఉద్గారించు udgārinṭsu. v. a. To vomit, to belch, emit. కక్కు, తేపు. ఉద్ఘాటనము ud-ghāṭanamu. [Skt.] n. Breaking. ఛేదించుట. ఉద్ఘాటించు udghāṭinṭsu. n. To break, open. ఛేదించు.

(p. 377) gubaguba or గుభగుభ gubaguba. [Tel.] n. Hubbub. గుబగుబలు లేనికూటమి meeting without tumult. అక్కడ ఏమి గుబగుబలు what is the uproar? వారేమో గుబగుబలాడుచున్నారు there is some stir among them. adv. Tumultuously: with indistinct accents. పిల్లకాయలు గుబగుబపరుగెత్తిరి the boys ran along noisily. 'గుబగుబమని పల్కు కోకిలపల్కులు, విని యివి నేర్తువా యనుచు నవ్వు.' T. ii. 97. సముద్రము గుబగుబలాడుచున్నది the sea roars aloud. ఊరంతా గుబగుబలాడు తున్నది all the village is up, in a stir, or in a ferment. గుబాటున gubāṭuna. adv. All at once, in a moment.బాటు౛డివానలు sudden showers. గుబాదెబ gubā-deba. adv. Bang! slapdash. 'గుబాదెబ వీధుల వెంటజంటలై' H. v. 191. వాణ్ని గుబాదెబగుద్దినారు they beat him thoroughly. గుబాలు or గుబేలు gubālu. n. A bang! a loud sound. గుబాలను to bang, to make a noise. గుబాలున or గుభాలున all at once. Bang! crashingly. నీళ్లలో బాలునదుమికినాడు he leapt slapdash into the water. గుబాలుమన్న ధ్వనివింటిని I heard an explosion or a bang. గుబాళించు gubā-ḷ-inṭsu. v. n. To be emitted or burst forth, as scent. 'కమ్మతావిగుబాళించు తమ్మికొలను' a pond perfumed with lilies. Vijaya. i. 162.

(p. 562) toluku toluku. [Tel.] v. n. To rain. వర్షించు, కురియు. తొలుమొగలు (తొలుకు+మొగులు.) a raining cloud వర్షించుచున్నమేఘము. To burst forth, overflow, be emitted (as flames, tears, rays, sweat, &c.) తొలుకు నవ్వు a smile playing or beaming over the countenance.

(p. 1132) varasa or వరుస varasa. [Tel.] n. A line or row, పజ్త్కి. A series or order, పరంపర. A mode, way, క్రమము, విధము. Relationship, బంధుత్వక్రమము. Usage, వాడుక. A turn, relief, or time, వంతు. ఒకవరుస once. Likeness, similitude, సామ్యము. A present, a donation, a gift solemnly presented by a procession of relations or friends. బంధువులుగాని మిత్రులుగాని వాద్యసహితముగా తీసికొనివచ్చే బహుమానము. 'మిమువంటిపెద్దలెతగు వావియున్ వరుసదప్పిచరించిన.' URK. iv. 273. ఆ పని యీవరుసనుండగా when the business was in this state. రేపు అతని వరుస it is his turn to-morrow. నన్ను వాడు బ్రతుకనిచ్చే వరుసకనపడదు there is no chance of his sparing me. వరుసతప్పు to commit incest. ఎప్పుడు చెప్పేవరుసనే చెప్పినారు they talked as they have always done. వరసజ్వరము remittent or recurring fever such as tertain or quartain. వరసగా or వరుసగా varusa-gā. adv. In a line, in order, regularly. శ్రేణిగా, క్రమముగా. అన్నదమ్ముల వరసగానున్నారు they are connected as brothers. వరుసమొగ్గరము varusa-mogga-ramu. n. A military evolution. దండవ్యూహము.

(p. 1217) veḷlu vellu. [Tel. short for వెడలు.] v. n. To go, proceed, depart. To pass, or elapse. To be emitted. పోవు. కడువువెళ్లుచున్నది the bowels are loose. నాలుగుదినములు వెళ్లినతర్వాత after four days passed. కడవెళ్ల చదివినాడు he read it to the end. పొలిమేర వెళ్లదొక్కు to read the boundary line, i.e., to settle the boundary. వెళ్లగక్కు veḷl-gakku. v. a. To vomit up, disgorge, refund, వమనముచేయు, మళ్లియిచ్చివేయు. వెళ్లజేయు, వెళ్లగొట్టు or వెళ్లించు veḷla-jēyu. v. a. To drive out, chase away, eject, expel, పోవజేయు.' తిరిగిపోయిన మరితెలియంగజెప్పి భూమి వెళ్లింతుముపొందైనభంగి.' Pal. 449. వెళ్లదీయు veḷḷa-dīyu. v. a. To take out or extract, బయటికితీయు. వెళ్లిపోవు veḷḷi-pōvu. v. n. To go away, depart.

(p. 1375) svaramu svaramu. [Skt.] n. A voice, sound, noise, note, tone, tune. A vowel. An accent. Air breathed throough a nostril. కంఠధ్వని, రవము, ధ్వని, తానము; షడ్జాది సంగీతస్వరము, అచ్చు, ఉదాత్తాదివేదస్వరము, నాసాపవనము, ఒక ముక్కుగుండా విడువబడినగాలి. సప్త స్వరములు the seven notes of the gamut. స్వరభంగము a fluttering of the voice. అపస్వరము a false note. స్వరమండలము or స్వరమండలి a musical instrument composed of a number of reeds joined together and played on with the finger. 'స్వరమండలములు కిన్నెరలు.' H. v. 412. స్వరశాస్త్రము a certain mode of fortune-telling, wherein the breath is emitted from one or the other nostril, and this is taken as the basis of a certain calculation. ముక్కుగాలిని పట్టి ప్రశ్నచెప్పే శాస్త్రము. The breath that comes through the right nostril is called సూర్యనాడి and the breath that comes through the left nostril is called చంద్రనాడి. స్వరపేటిక svara-pēṭika. n. The larynx.
