(p. 110) acandratārakamu, ācandrārkamu ā-chandra-tārakamu. [Skt.] adv. For ever, as long as the moon and stars or sun endure.

(p. 148) uṇḍu uṇḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be, exist, live. 2. To reside, dwell. 3. To remain, stop, stay. 4. To last, endure, continue. 5. To keep still, stay quiet; 6. To wait. To stand over, remain as a surplus. ఉండిపోవు, శేషించు. 7. To have. నాకు భార్య ఉండగా as I have a wife. 'కనకము ఉన్నవాడు' he who possesses gold. -- 8. To keep a feast. విజయదశమి ఉండినారు they kept the Vijaya Dasami feast. ఉన్న మాట యిది this is the fact. ఉన్నరూపు the true form, the reality. నేను అక్కడ పది దినములుంటిని I remained there ten days, వాడు (ఇంట్లో) ఉన్నాడా is he at home? మీ తండ్రి బాగా ఉన్నాడా is your father well? ఉన్నట్టుండి suddenly, just as they were. ఉన్నారు they are; రేపుదాక ఉంటారా will they remain till to-morrow? అక్కడ ఉన్నారా are they there?

(p. 218) ōpu ōpu. [Tel.] v. t. To bear, endure, tolerate. ఓర్చు. చూపోపక A. v. 78. unable to stand before his face. ఇంతకష్టమోపలేను I cannot bear this trouble. ఓప రాని. ōpa-rāni. adj. Intolerable సహింపగూడని. ఓపలేని ōpa-lēni. adj. Impatient. ఓర్పులేని; helpless,దిక్కులేని. ఓపలేనివారికి వద్దన్నవారే తల్లిదండ్రులు those who check the impatient are their best friends. ఓపు ōpu. v. n. To be fit, to suit; to be worthy: to be able: to be possible or practicable. చాలు, తగియుండు, పోనోప్పనా can he go? పోనోపడు he cannot go. ఈనోపని unable to give.

(p. 219) ōrucu ōruṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To bear, endure, suffer, tolerate, pardon సహించు, క్షమించు. (From ఓడు) v. t. To conquer ఓడించు. ఓరుపు ōrupu. n. Endurance, patience, tolerance. ఓరుచుకొను ōruṭsu-konu. v. n. To endure, to be patient. ఓరుపరి Same as ఓర్పరి.

(p. 259) kalugu or కల్గు kalugu. [Tel.] v. n. To live exist. To be. ఉండు. To happen, occur. To become అగు. To endure ఓపు. To be born పుట్టు. To meet కూడు. ఒక రాజుకలడు there was a certain king. అతనికి పిల్లలుకలిగి children being born to him. సొమ్ముకలవాడు one who has money. నాకు న్యాయము కలిగినది I got justice. అట్లా అనడముకద్దు (or కలదు) it is usual to say so. పనికలిగి వచ్చిరి they came about some business. వ్రాయగలడు he can write. అట్లా మేము చెల్లించగలవారము కాము we are not liable to pay this money. వీరాదిగాగలరాజులు (RYD. 2060) these and other princes. తెలివిగలవాడు a man of sense. యాభైయేండ్లుగలవాడు aged fifty. To be sore. వానికి కండ్లుకలిగినవి he has sore eyes. v. t. To have, to show కలిగియుండు, కనుపరుచు. 'కరుణగలుగుమ్మ కమలనేత్ర.' (భార. అది. viii.)

(p. 367) giṭṭu giṭṭu. [Tel.] v. n. To die, expire. చచ్చు, నశించు. 'పుట్టిరేని వారుగిట్టిరేని' what though they be born, what though they die (Vēma). To suit, agree, match or meet, to be met. అనుకూలించు. to gnash. వాడికి పండ్లుగిట్టుకొనిపోయినవి his teeth were set in agony. వానికిని నాకును గిట్టదు he and I do not agree. నాకు గిట్టనివారు those who hate me, my ill wishers. ధరగిట్టక not agreeing on a price. అది నాకు గిట్టదు I do not like it, I cannot endure it. గిట్టీగిట్టక ఉన్నారు they are hardly on good terms. గిట్టని unsuitable. గిట్టమి disagreement, enmity. గిట్టమితనము spitefulness. v. a. To attack, meet with; లేండ్లగమిగిట్టుకోల్పులి the tiger that attacks the deer. M. 9. 1. 260. కలియు, కదియు, పైపడు, తాకు, పొదుపుకొను. 'శక్తిదండకృపాణ పాశములు నీటెగదయు శూలముగొని నిశాచరుని గిట్టి' T. v. 111. గిట్టుబడి or గిట్టింపు giṭṭubaḍi. n. Profit (in trade): in demand. గిట్టింపైన సరుకులు goods that are profitable to the seller, good articles.

(p. 448) cālu ṭsālu. [Tel.] v. n. To suffice, to be enough or sufficient. కావలసినంత అగు, సమృద్ధమగు. To be able. To bear, tolerate, endure ఓపు. చాలును (3rd pers. aor.) it is enough. చాలదు. neg. aor.) it is not enough. అనజాలరు they cannot say. బుద్ధిచాలదు నీకు (Dasav. iv. 195.) you have not sense enough. చాలీచాలకయిది జరిగించినాడు he committed this out of dire necessity. చాలీచాలవు these are barely enough. ఈడుచాలిన grown, of full age. ఈడుచాలని under age, immature. జ్ఞాపకముచాలదు I do not sufficiently remember it. నా గ్రహచారము చాలక యిట్లు సంభవించెను through my luck not being good enough it so happened. వాపులుచాలు enough of these words about relationship. 'వాలి నేనును సురల్ పడినొకవంక జాలితి మొకవంక జాలి రసురులు.' T. iii. 117. On our side we were mighty, and so were our foes. చాలు n. Sufficiency, abundance సమృద్ధి. A line, a row, series, furrow, stripe, track, trace. A flow or stream. Features. తల్లిచాలుపోలిక resemblance to the mother's features. ఈ చాలున in this manner. శ్రేణి, సరణి, జాడ. A. v. 122. R. i. 106. 117. చాల్గల, i.e., చాలుగల. (Vasu. i. 57.) in a stream. చాలుపు or చాల్పు ṭsālupu. n. A line or row. A series, succession. Length: the longer measurement as opposed to the width. చాలుపుగా in a line, one after another, here and there, occasionally. చాలుబడి ability, చాలిక, సామర్ధ్యము. చాలు వాడు one who is able శక్తుడు, సమర్థుడు. చాలుపారు to be fine or pretty వరుసతీరు. 'క మొలచి తలలెత్తి నిక్కుచు సలలితగతి జాలుపారె సస్యములధిపా.' భాగ. x.

(p. 451) cūpu ṭsūpu. [Tel. from చూచు.] n. Slight, a look, vision, glance. లక్ష్మి అతణ్ని చిన్న చూపుచూచినది fortune frowned on him. చిన్నచూపు humiliation, contempt. బ్రతికే చూపు కనిపించలేదు there was no prospect of his living longer. చూపోపు (చూపు+ఓపు) to endure the sight of. చూడ సహించు. చూపోపక unable to stand before his face. A. v. 78. చూపు or చూపించు v. a. To undertake, to enter upon, to share, to engage in. పూనుకొను, పైనవేసికొను. To be subject to, స్వాధీనమగు. 'వివిధచేష్టలకుంబాలుపడి.' B. X. §. 30. పాలుపుచ్చు or పాలుపెట్టు pālu-puṭsṭsu. v. a. To deduct or subtract: to divide or separate, విభాగించు. To decide or settle, నిర్ణయించు. వేదనపాలుకాలేను I cannot endure being a prey to grief. పాలుగలవాడు a co-heir, a cousin, దాయాదివాడు. To be decided, నిర్ణీతమగు. ఒకరిని పాలుబోక ఆ పనిని అట్టె పడవేసిపెట్టినారు no one undertook the work, so it was left undone. అది యెటు వ్రాయడానకు పాలుపోక విడిచినాను unable to decide how to write the passage. I omitted it. పాలుభోగగ్రామము pālu-bhōga-grā-mamu. n. A village wherein each field is held as one man's separate property.

(p. 794) pēgu or ప్రేగు pēgu. [Tel.] n. An entrail, gut, or bowel. Generally used in the plural: పేగులు. పేగులు తెగేటట్టు పరుగెత్తినాడు he ran so fast as to break his wind. పేగులు తెగిన గుర్రలు a broken winded horse. అది నా పేగు గనుక నా మనసు తాళలేదు as it was my own child I could not endure to see this. పేగులుతెగ నవ్వినాడు he is ready to split his sides with laughter. పేగునపట్టినతీట rankling or piercing pain. మేమందరము ఒక పేగు we are all sons of the same womb. పేగెక్కుట the wringing of the belly. ఆ బిడ్డకు పేగుపడినది the child is suffering from spasams. పేగుతట్టు or తోము to handle or rub the belly to remove pain. పేగు౛ారు pēgu-ḍzāru. v. n. To have rupture or hernia, బుడ్డదిగు.
