(p. 189) ennu ennu. [Tel.] v. a. To count, reckon; think, esteem, believe. To care for, regard. To narrate ఎంచు, గణించు. ఎన్నువ ennuva. n. Reckoning ఎన్నిక. A song of mourning in which the virtues of the deceased person are extolled. ఆడువారు ఏడ్చినపుడు పాడే చచ్చినవారి చారిత్రము.

(p. 606) dūṣiñcu dūshinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To revile, abuse, satirize, laugh at. నిందించు, చూరు. దూషకుడు dūshakuḍu. n. A reviler, a scoffer. నిందించేవాడు. దూషణ or దూషణము ḍūshaṇa. n. Disparagement, reproach. Abuse, reviling. In plays and poems చంద్రదూషణము is 'disparagement of the moon:' that is, verses extolling a beauty as surpassing that of the moon. cf. 'And with a blush that laughs to scorn. The brightness of the ruddy morn'. దూష్యము dūshyamu. adj. Reprehensible, contemnable, vile.

(p. 702) paṇamu paṇamu. [Tel.] n. A feat of strength, &c., as a reward of which the hand of a heroine is bestowed on the victor. [Skt.] n. Price, వెల. Wages, hire. కూలి. The weight of a cowri, గవ్వయెత్తు. Also, a weight of copper, ఒక రాగిటంకము. A stake at play, a bet, a wager, పందెము. Gaming, gambling, playing with dice, ౛ూదము. పణితము or పణాయితము paṇitamu. adj. Laid as a wager, పందెముగా చేయబడిన. Praised, extolled, పొగడబడిన.

(p. 1118) vandanamu vandanamu. [Skt.] n. An obeisance, salutation, అభివాదనము, నమస్కారము, Praise, స్తుతి. Thanks. వందనమిడు or వందనముచేయు vandanam-iḍu. v. n. To honour, salute, bow to. వందనమాల vandana-māla. n. A garland hung over a gate or carved in stone trellis. ద్వారమందు కట్టినతోరణము. వందారువు or వందారుడు vandāruvu. n. One who salutes or pays homage. నమస్కారము చేయువాడు. వంది vandi. n. A herald, bard, panegyrist. ప్రాతఃకాలమందు రాజులను మేలుకొలిపేవాడు, స్తుతిచేసి జీవించువాడు, బట్టువాడు. వందించు vandinṭsu. v. a. To praise, స్తుతించు. వందితుడు vandintuḍu. n. One who is praised or saluted, స్తుతింపబడినవాడు, నమస్కరింపబడినవాడు. వంద్యము vandyamu. adj. Honourable, venerable, worthy or regard Lauded or laudable. కొనియాడదగిన, పూజ్యమైన. 'సకలలోకైకవంద్యంబు సకలసుజన, చిత్తరంజనకారణంబుత్తమంబు.' Vish. i. 31. వంద్యుడు vandyuḍu. n. One who is worthy to be praised. పూజ్యుడు లోకవంద్యుడు fit to be praised or extolled by the whole world.
