(F.B.I.) గరుత్మంతుడు. గరుడిరవుతు garuḍi-ravutu. n. Vishnu. గరుడముక్కువాడు a man with a Roman nose. గరుడధ్వజుడు garuḍa-dhvajuḍu. n. An epithet of Vishnu, whose emblem is the kite. గరుడపచ్చ garuḍa-paṭsṭsa. n. An inferior emerald. మరకతము. గరుడపార్వ garuḍa-pārva. n. An eagle-glance. A keen, fearless look, like that of an eagle. గరుడవాస్తు garuḍa-vāstu. n. A certain plan on which some Hindu houses are built. గరుడసరులు garuḍa-sarulu. n. A fine sort of rice. గరుడస్తంభము or గరుడకంబము garuḍa-stambhamu. n. A post erected before a temple, with bells at the top. గరుడాగ్రజుడు garuḍ-āgrajuḍu. n. An epithet of Anura, as being the elder brother of గరుడుడు. గరుడాచలము garuḍā-chalamu. n. The name of a hill in the Cuddapa District: and the subject of a favourite poem. గరుడాశ్వారు garuḍāḷvāru. n. A name for an eagle. A brahminy kite. గరుడాసనము garuḍ-āsanamu. n. Kneeling on one knee: this being the attitude of the griphon Garuda.

(p. 581) dayita dayita. [Skt.] n. A darling, pet, favourite. ప్రియురాలు. A woman, ఆడుది. దయితుడు dayiluḍu. n. A lover, husband. ప్రియుడు, ఇష్టపడు. మదీయదయితుడు my love.

(p. 914) brāti brāti. [Tel.] n. Love, ప్రేమ. adj. Much, great, అధికము, హెచ్చు, అతిశయము, గొప్ప. Hard to get, impossible, దుర్లభము. Dear, beloved, ప్రియము. See బాతి. 'భవదధీనులకున్ విజయంబుబ్రాతె.' M. VII. v. 8. is it any great matter for thy favourites to be conquerors? నీప్రాపుగలిగినవారికి జయముకలుగుటయతిశయమా?

(p. 1044) mōzu mōḍzu. [H.] n. An ardent desire, great liking, fancy, taste. ఆశ, ఆ గుర్రము మీద నిండా మో౛ుగానున్నాడు he has a great fancy for that horse. మో౛ుగలసరుకులు favourite or fashionable goods. 'మో౛ుననెగురుమొనసిచూడంగ.' Vēma. 1524.

(p. 1331) sikā or సిక్కా sikā. [from Skt. శిఖ.] n. A seal. సికాఉంగరము a ring which is used as a seal, a favourite ring. ముద్దుటుంగరము.
