(p. 65) apōhamu apōhamu. [Skt.] n. An unwarranted inference Inferring the existence of what does not really exist any where లేనిది ఊహించుట. Ascertaining by investigation, decision. నిర్ణయము, నిష్పత్తి It commonly means a lie, a false hood, a false charge. అబద్ధము, కల్ల, తప్పు ఫిర్యాదు. నా మీద అపోహము చెప్పినాడు he laid the blame upon me falsely.

(p. 513) tarkamu tarkamu. [Skt.] n. The science of reasoning: logic. వాదము. Reasoning, inferring, deducing, guessing. Discussion. disputation. Conjecture, fancy, notion. ఊహ. తర్కశాస్త్రి tarka-sāstri. n. A logician. తర్కించు tarkinṭsu. v. n. To doubt, dispute, argue, investigate, consider. తర్కముచేయు.

In the direction of, near; the act or state of వాలుదల slanting. ఊరిదల near the town. విడుదల release. దిగుదలపొలము the lower fields. చావుదల the state of dying. కమ్ముదల concealment. మోపుదల weight, charge. తిరుగుదల turning. వ్యాధి తిరుగుదలగానున్నది the disease is on the turn. తగులుదల cost. తగులుదలవ్యయములు the sum incurred. నిలుపుదల deferring, postponement, suspension. కూడుదల help. దానివల్ల ఇంటివారికి కొంచెము కూడుదల ఉండినది. thereby they had some profit. నదికి ఎగుదల up the river. నదికి దిగుదల down the river.

(p. 545) tekateka teka-teka. [Tel. anuk.] adv. Hotly. fiercely. Much (referring to sunshine.) తెకతెకలాడుచున్నది it is hot, it is fierce.

(p. 1387) hārati, ārati or మంగళహారతి hārati. [from Skt. ఆరాత్రికమ్.] n. A waveoffering to a deity. An offering of camphor, &c., presented on marriages or such like festivities to prevent the bad effects of an evil eye. దీపహారతి an offerring of lights. ధూపహారతి an offering of burning incense. కర్పూరహారతి an offering of lighted camphor. కుంబహారతి an offering of a vase with a lamp on its mouth. హారతిపాటలు songs sung at the time of offering camphor to a deity or on festive occasions, having the phrase హారతులెత్తరే as a chorus.
