A slight or superficial wound, a slight graze or wound. స్వల్పగాయము. అసిధారావ్రతము asī-dhāra-vratamu a vow to stand on the edge of a sword; (figuratively) being engaged in any hopelessly difficult task. అసిధేను or అసిధేనుక or అసిపుత్రి asidhēnu. n. A knife. ఛురిక, సూరకత్తి. 'సంబంద్ధాసిధేనుల్.' Parij. ii. 118. అసిపత్రము asi-patramu. [Skt.] n. The blade of a sword. కత్తి యొక్క అలుగు or the sheath. కత్తి ఒర. అసిబోవు asi-bōvu. v. n. (p. 967) mahima or మహిమము mahima. [Skt.] n. Greatness in general (literal, or figurative.) గొప్పతనము. All pervasiveness, as one of Siva's attributes; illimitability, omnipotence, majesty, grandeur. ఒక ఐశ్వర్యము. The power of working miracles. మహాత్మ్యము.

(p. 1232) vyatīpātamu vy-atī-pātamu. [Skt.] n. The seventeenth of the astrological Yogas, ఒకగ్రహయోగము, పంచాంగయోగభేదము. A portent, a prodigy indicating calamity, as a comet, earthquake, &c. అత్యుత్పాతము, ఉపద్రవము. Applied figuratively to a naughty, troublesome, mischievous child. Contempt, అనాదరము. Fleeing from a battle, యుద్ధమున వెనుదీయుట. ఒరేపోరా వ్యతీపాత go along, you fool! 'అలుకహిమరశ్మినిజకిరణాళినించి యామహాతాపమణగింప నప్పుడుష్ణశీత సంయోగమునన వ్యతీపాతసమజ్ఞ బొడమెనొక్కడు ముజ్ఝగంబులువడంక.'
