(p. 224) kañcukaṇṭu kanṭsu-kanṭu. [Tel.] n. A frying pan. బాణలి. కంచుమించు kanṭsu-minṭsu. n. A sort of toe-ring. adj. Invisible, out of sight అగోచరము., In some places it is the name of the hawk. కంచుమించుగా kanṭsu-minṭsu-gā. adv. Rapidly, like a flash. కంచుమించులై, చెల్లాకుచెదరై. R. V. 303.

(p. 235) kaḍalukonu or కడల్కొను kaḍalu-konu. [Tel.] v. n. To gleam, to flash, flicker, as light. 'చెక్కుల కర్ణకుండలకాతి కడలుకొనగ' B. VIII. 450. The brilliancy of the earrings flashed over her polished cheeks. To increase or spread or extend. వ్యాపించు, కడలొత్తు. To spread వ్యాపించు.

(p. 245) kabaḷamu kabaḷamu. [Skt.] n. A mouthful, a bolus. వాని నోరు మూయడమునకు ఒక కబళము వేసిరి they gave him a sop to make him hold his tongue. కబళించు kabaḷinṭsu. v. a. To swallow, devour. To snatch, seize. To pervade (as sparks or flashes do the sky.) మింగు, పట్టుకొను, వ్యాపించు.

(p. 318) kodama kodama. [Tel.] adj. Young. Hard. ధృఢమైన. కొదమసింగము or సింగపుకొదమ a young lion. కొదమతుమ్మెద or తేటికొదమ a young bee. కొదిమపిడుగు a fierce flash of lightning. n. A young animal, a cub. పశుపక్ష్యాదులపిల్ల. A female lamb or kid. ఆడుమేకపిల్ల.

(p. 338) kṣaṇamu kshaṇamu. [Skt.] n. A moment, an instant. పదివిఘడియలు. A feast. తిరునాళ్లు, ఉత్సవము. M. I. i. 147. అరక్షణము half a second, for awhile. క్షణప్రభ kshaṇa-prabha. n. Lightning without thunder ఉరుములేని మెరుపు. A sort of grain. తీగమోడి tīga-mōḍi. n. Patterns of flourishes or carved work in carpentry. వ్రాతపని. ముత్తెములు తీగెమోడికుట్టే పనులు embroidery in the fashion of sprigs of pearl. తీగసాగు tīga-sāgu. v. n. To increase, to prosper వర్ధిల్లు. గార బాగా తీగెలు సాగేలాగున కలిపిరి they mixed the mortar till it was of a proper consistency. తీగలుపారు to spread వ్యాపించు. తీగవిలుకాడు an epithet of Manmadha. తీగసరులు a kind of rice ధ్యాన్యవిశేషము.
