(p. 448) cuṇḍu ṭsunḍu. [Tel.] n. Scurf or dandruff చుండు. v. n. To evaporate or dry up. To be flicked (as water from the finger.) చుండించు ṭsunḍinṭsu. v. a. To decoct, or dry up. చుండెలుక ṭsunḍ-eluka. n. A mouse. The grey musk shrew; the muskrat of Anglo-Indians. Crocidura cacrulea. (F.B.I.)

(p. 866) badde badde. [Tel.] n. The fag end or selvage of a web, వస్త్రముమొదలు, వస్తి, బట్టమొదటిభాగము. A slip of cloth. వస్త్రఖండము. బద్దె మెడకు వేసుకొని కర్మము జరిగించెను he performed the funeral rites putting on a slip of cloth round his neck as a mark of mourning. Also, a thin or flat piece of wood as వింటిబద్దె or కావటిబద్దె. నవారుబద్దె a tape. బద్దెగుండ్లు baddè-gunḍlu. n. Little balls like marbles flicked from the finger-ends.

(p. 989) mīṭu mīṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To fillip, fling, toss. వీణెమీటు to touch the lute. గోటమీటు to flick away or fling from the nail. గుర్రమును మీటు to spur a horse. చెక్కుమీటు to touch or scratch (the cheek) with the nail. తేలుమీటినది the scorpion stung (him) 'నిజాంగుష్ఠంబునగొని పరియోజనములు పోవగమీటెన్.' R. v. 293. 'చెక్కుమీటిన వసకారుశిశువు.' Vish. ii. 62. 'తేలనుచు బిగియబట్టిన మేలెరుగునె మీటుగాక.' Vēma 1087. 'తోదోపులమీరిమేటిరవుతుల్ తురంగంబులమీటిపిల్వ.' T. v. 22. 'విడుమంచుసీత్కృతితో గోటజెక్కుమీటు.' (p. 1085) reparepa repa-repa. [Tel. (anuk)] n. The flickering noise made by a flame. అగ్ని జ్వాలధ్వని. A faint flutter (of leaves, &c. as when a wind blows.) రవంతకొట్టుకొనడము, కొనప్రాణముతోనుండడము. రెపరెపమను or రెపరెపలాడు repa-repa-m-anu. v. n. To be faint or fluttering with weakness. రవంతకొట్టుకొను. కొనప్రాణము రవంతకొట్టుకొను, కొనప్రాణముతోనుండు. To be hungry, రవంత ఆకలియగు.
