(p. 139) irri irri. [Tel.] n. The male of the Indian antelope, a black. A Bennettii, of Sykes, Elliot. ఇర్రింక. (for ఇర్రిజింక) A male antelope. మగలేడి. ఇర్రింక చూపులు wild glances like those of the antelope. 'ఈక్షింపగా నేర్చె నిర్రింక చూపుల, మోవిగూర్పగనేర్చె మొలకనవ్వు.' Matid. iii. 248. ఇర్రింకులు irrinkulu. (p. 218) ōra ōra. [Tel.] n. The side, border, edge. అంచు. A whole day and night అహోరాత్రము. ఒక ఓరను ఉంటిమి we stood on one side. ఓరగా sidelong, sideways. తలుపోరగా చేసెor ఓరవాకిలి చేసినది she opened the door a little, or, set it a jar. ఓరబోయి becoming crooked వంకరపోయి. BD. vi. ఓరచూపు ōra-ṭsūpu. n. A sidelong glance. బెళుకుటోర యొయారపు చూపు leeringly. ఓరంతపొద్దు ōranta-poddu. (ఓర+అంత+ప్రొద్దు) the livelong day, all day long, దినమంతయు, ఆసాయము. (p. 230) kaṭākṣamu kaṭākshamu. [Skt. కట+అక్షము.] n. A look; particularly, a glance or side look; a favourable look; (hence) grace, kindness. క్రూరకటాక్షము an angry glance, కటాక్షము kaṭākshamu. interj. You are very good! I thank you! కటాక్షించు kaṭākshinṭsu. v. a. To glance at to view, to countenance or favour. కటాక్షించవలసినది be pleased to view this with a gracious eye.

(p. 234) kaḍa kaḍa. [Tel.] n. A place, quarter, or direction. దిక్కు, పార్శ్వము. The end, extremity అంతము. Distance దూరము. (p. 271) kānuka or కాన్క kānuka. [Tel. from కాను.] n. An offering or courtesy, made in homage to a superior, or to a god. A gift on which the lord is supposed to cast his 'glance.'

(p. 285) kisaru kisaru. [Tel.] n. Sharpness, tartness. Bad humours in the body: the evil eye: mischief done to infants by the touch of an impure person. అంటుసోకుటవల్ల బిడ్డలకు కలిగే దోషము. Thus in arithmetic గ1 is one pagoda; గగ one thousand pagodas. గండడగు ganḍaḍagu. [గండు+అడగు.] v. n. To lose heart or courage పరాక్రమహీనుడగు. (హరి. ఉ. ii.) To die చచ్చు. (Vasu. iv.) గండాడు ganḍāḍu. [గండు+ఆడు.] v. n. To have sexual intercourse. రమించు. గండుకరణము ganḍ-karaṇamu. n. The bird called the Green Barbet. Thereiceryx Zeylonicus (F.B.I.) (Jerdon's Catal. No. 217.) గండుడు ganḍuḍu. (F.B.I.) గరుత్మంతుడు. గరుడిరవుతు garuḍi-ravutu. n. Vishnu. గరుడముక్కువాడు a man with a Roman nose. గరుడధ్వజుడు garuḍa-dhvajuḍu. n. A fine sort of rice. గరుడస్తంభము or గరుడకంబము garuḍa-stambhamu. n. A post erected before a temple, with bells at the top. గరుడాగ్రజుడు garuḍ-āgrajuḍu. n. An epithet of Anura, as being the elder brother of గరుడుడు. గరుడాచలము garuḍā-chalamu. n. The name of a hill in the Cuddapa District: and the subject of a favourite poem. గరుడాశ్వారు garuḍāḷvāru. n. A name for an eagle. A brahminy kite. గరుడాసనము garuḍ-āsanamu. n. Kneeling on one knee: this being the attitude of the griphon Garuda.

(p. 383) gūnu gūnu. [Tel.] n. A hump. A crooked back. గూని agūni. adj. Crooked. గూని చూపు drooping glances. Internal. గూనిపోటు an inward bruise. గూనివాడు or గూనిది a cripple, a dwarf కబ్జుడు. గూనుగిల్లు gūnu-gillu. v. n. To have or get a crooked back. గూనుకలుగు.

Burnished, ground sharp, bright, bland, smooth, fine, graceful, trim, pretty. చికిలిచూపు a bland glance. చికిలిచేయు or చికిలిచేయించు to burnish or set. చికిలి సాన a smooth whetstone. చికిలికాడు one who cleans and sharpens knives, &c. చికిలించు chikilinṭsu. v. n. To ogle or leer. కండ్లను చికిలించి with a leering look. చికిలింతగడ్డి chikilinta-gaḍḍi. n. Bur grass. Rox. i. 301.
