(p. 1396) aṅgiliguṇṭa angili-gunṭa. [Tel.] n. The pit of the mouth or palate.

(p. 7) aṃzaliguṃzali anzaligunzali. [Tel.] a. Creating confusion; destroying; causing pain ఛిన్నాభిన్నము చేసిన, గాసినొందిన. 'తొండంబుచేపట్టి త్రోచిరాదిగిచి, యంజలి గుంజలియార్చ మైవెంచి, భుజింపుచును.' భాగ. iv. 194.

(p. 24) agāḍu agādu. [H.] n. Discharge, explosion. వేటులేవడము. తుపాకిని అగాదు చేయు to discharge a gun. ఒక అగాదు one volley, or, one shot. తరియను లోహకారకుడు దగ్రత బశ్చిమశైల శృంగముం గురిగొని వేలుపుందెరువు గొప్ప పిరింగిని జామమందుతో గొరలేడువిన్ను మానికవుగుండు ఘటించియగాదు చేసినన్ దరుచుగగ్రమ్ము క్రొంబొగలనంగ జగంబునఁబర్వెచీకటుల్ రసి. 4. ఆ.

(p. 27) accanagaṇḍlu, accanagāyalu or అచ్చనగుండ్లు aṭṭsana-gunḍlu. [Tel. singular అచ్చనకల్లు;] n. Chuck-stones. Pebbles which are tossed up, and caught on the back of the hand, in a game played by girls. 'ముదురువెన్నెల గాయ ముత్యాలదిన్నెపై పైడియచ్చనగండ్లు పారవైచి.' Yayati. iii. 149. అచ్చనలాడు or అచ్చనగాయలాడు to toss up balls and catch them on the back of the hand. నలాడండననియె నమ్మునితోడన్.' Jai. Bhar. i. 62.

(p. 43) aduruvēṭu aduru-vēṭu. [Tel.] n. A large gun-rocket, fixed in processions. పెట్లదిమ్మె.

(p. 78) araguṇḍetanamu ara-gunde-tanamu. [Tel.] n. Courage, spirit. గుండె, ధైర్యము. 'అద్దిర భక్తుని యరగుండెతనము.' BD. v. 207.

(p. 121) ārabdhamu ārabdhamu. [Skt.] adj. That which is begun, ఆరంభింపబడినది.

(p. 187) ettugunna ettu-gunna. [Tel.] n. A young elephant లేత యేనుగు పిల్ల.

(p. 223) kaṅgu kangu. [Tel.] n. A gold armlet of a wavy shape. బంగారుపోగుతో నంకగా నేర్పరచిన కన్ను. A shrill sound as of a bell when struck. కంగున kanguna. adv. Aloud, resoundingly as a bell. కంగుమును kangum-anu. v. n. To sound, echo as a bell.

(p. 232) kaṭṭuguṃza kaṭṭu-gunza. [Tel.] n. A post to tie cattle to.

(p. 241) kanupu kanupu. [Tel.] n. A joint of the fingers, or toes, or of the sugar cane, &c. Same as గణుపు. (q. v.) కనుపుల గుండ్లు kanupula-gunḍlu. n. A sort of bracelet. Suca. I. 176.

(p. 278) kālu kālu. [Tel.] v. n. To burn, to be consumed. To be baked, scalded, burnt, or boiled. To shine, gleam. కాలుదివ్వె a torch కాగడా. కాలేయిల్లు a house on fire. వానిగర్వముకాలా curse on his pride; lit. May his pride be burnt. కాలుచు or కాల్చు kāluṭsu. v. a. To burn, roast, scorch; to fire a gun. కాలుపు kālupu. n. Burning, setting on fire. Baking, boiling, roasting. కాలుపులు burnings. కాల్పించు kālpinṭṣu. (causal of కాల్చు.) to have it burnt.

(p. 289) kundā kundā. [H.] n. The butt of a gun.

(p. 289) kunduruvu or కుందువు kunduruvu. [Skt.] n. A sort of weed that infests corn land. Saccharum spontanum. కుందురుబీడు a waste place covered with such weeds. Also, the resin of the Boswellia thurifera, gun olibanum or frankincense సూర్యావర్తము.

(p. 291) kuccela kuchchela. [Tel.] n. (plu. కుచ్చెలలు or కుచ్చెళ్లు.) A rick of corn. A heap of cut corn. జొన్నలలోనగువానికుప్ప. a land measure which in Guntur district is twenty nine acres or (33 3/16) thirty three gunṭas (see గుంట) and three sixteenths. One కుచ్చెల is nearly the same as a కత్తి of land, and is equal to eight గొర్రులు or 400 కుంటలు. The land that produces one stack of corn; it varies in various districts, and the above stated quantity is that fixed in the government rates. కుచ్చెళ్లువేయు to lay corn in ricks. కుచ్చెళ్లు See కుచ్చె. కుచ్చెలగంత or కుచ్చెల బొంత a bag of corn.
