(p. 493) ḍiṅki or డింకీ ḍinki. [Tel.] n. A fall in wrestling. A summersault, a feat in gymnastics wherein two players roll themselves up together into a ball.

(p. 576) daṇḍemu or దండియము danḍemu. [Tel.] n. A cord line, or pole on which clothes are hung to dry. A kind of gymnastic exercise. దండెములుతీయు to perform a kind of gymnastic exercise, which consists in resting the hands on the ground and moving the body to and fro. కాళ్లు చేతులు నేలను మోపి ముందుకు వెనుకకు ఊగుట. శశాం. iii.

(p. 617) drōṇamu or దోణము drōṇamu. [Skt.] n. A certain measure of capacity: rather more than 64 lbs avoirdupois. తూము. The name of a certain hill. The plant called Phlomis indica తుమ్మచెట్టు. A rocket. బాణాలచీర a sort of striped cloth like a plaid. ఆ పుస్తకములో బాణముపడ్డది that book is worm eaten. బాణాసంచి బాణసంచు a bag containing firewoks, fireworks. బాణవిద్య bāṇa-vidya. n. The pyrotechnic art. Fireworks. బాణా bāṇā. n. A cudgel. దండాయుధము. బాణాకత్తి a two handed sword. బాణాకర్ర a quarter staff, a cudgel or pole used in gymnastics, బాణాసనము bāṇ-āsanamu. n. A bow. విల్లు. (p. 1324) sāmu sāmu. [Tel. short for సగము.] n. A half. అర్థము. 'సాముసోము నోము గోముమోము.' Ila. iii. 170. టీ సాముసోము, సగము చంద్రుని. [from Skt. శ్రమము.] n. Bodily exercise, వ్యాయామము. Fencing of feats of strength, గారిడి. నేలవిడిచి సాముచేయగూడదు if you lose your footing you will lose your power. సాముచేయు to practise gymnastics or feats of strength. సామరి sām-ari. n. A gymnast or fencer. సాము నేర్చినవాడు. సాముకంటిచుక్క sāmu-kanṭi-ṭsukka. n. The name of a constellation called పుబ్బా or పూర్వఫల్గునీనక్షత్రము.
