'పౌరుషంబరిమురిగ్రాల పింగళకుడన్మృగరాజు చరించునచ్చటన్.' P. i. 107. అరిమురితనము ari-muri-tanamu. n. (p. 85) arrākali arrākali. [Tel. అర్ర+అకలి] n. Excessive hunger, torment, fatigue. కడగండ్లు. 'ఆకలికాదో, భక్తిన్ తేకువగలవాడుగానొ, తినవేలకృపన్, సాకగదేవన్ని పుడర్రాకలిబెట్టక పలాశనాసక్తుడనై.' Kalahasti. iii. 109.

(p. 85) arru arru. [Tel.] n. The neck. కంఠము, పశుజాతి, మెడపంపు, కుతిక, ఆపద, హాని. A sore on a bullock's neck occasioned by ploughing. ఆ యెద్దు యొక్క అర్రు కొట్టు కొనిపోయినది the bullock's neck is hurt (by the yoke.) 'అందని ఫలముల కర్రుచాపగనేల.' Kalahasti.

(p. 137) inumu inumu [Tel.] n. Iron. ఇనుప made of iron. ఇనుపగొలుసు an iron chain. ఇనుపకచ్చ an iron girdle, i.e., continence, chastity.

(p. 280) kāse , కాస or కాసియ kāse. [Tel.] n. The truss of a man's or woman's outer garment, which is passed loosely between the knees and tucked in the waist behind. A girdle దట్టి హనుమంతకాసె a garb worn by masquers, with a monkey's tail. A truss, or modesty piece. గోచి. A truss, the flap of a garment. ఇనుపకాసె కట్టిన straitlaced, severe in chastity. కాసెలు కొనిరి they girded themselves for battle. కాసెపోయు to tuck up the cloth బట్టను గోచివలె వెనుకకు దోపు.

(p. 312) kailāsamu kailāsamu. [Skt.] n. Kailasa, a mountain in Tibet. The fabled residence of Kubera and the heaven of Siva. కుబేరుని ఉనికిపట్టు. దక్షిణకైలాసము. The Kailas of the South, an epithet of Kalahasti.

(p. 356) gabhasti gabhasti. [Skt.] n. A ray of light, సూర్యకిరణము. అమృతగభస్తి 'the nectar-rayed god,' an epithet of the moon.

(p. 377) guppu guppu. [Tel.] v. n. To be diffused, or spread, as a smell. 'ఇక్షుదండము ప్రేమ భక్షింపభక్షింప, చప్పనేలగురుచుల్ గుప్పుగాక.' Kalah. § 35. 'ధూపంబువాసనగుప్పన్.' T. ii. 84. గుప్పు v. a. To pound or beat. To throw, fling or toss. గందపొడిగుప్పిరి they threw powder in handfuls. 'అతనుడునృపతిగుప్పుచున్నాడు పువ్వుకోలలను' L. X. 98. To place ఉంచు. To sprinkle చల్లు. To throw as a missile or an arrow విసిరివేయు, ప్రయోగించు. To thrust as a calf does at the udder పొదగును పొడుచు. గుప్పు n. A blow, a dash. గుప్పన guppana. adv. Sweetly, fragrantly. (గుప్పు+అనునట్లు) గుప్పనమేనితావి వగగల్కగ కమ్మనికందిపప్పు మాపప్పన మీకురాదు.' Balaram. Cha. 135. గుప్పున guppuna. adv. Quickly, hastily. Clearly. గుప్పున కనిపిస్తున్నది it is seen clearly or boldly.

A truss or flap; a waist cloth. ఇనుపగోచి an iron buckle fabled to be worn by ascetics. వాడు ఇనుప గోచికట్టినాడు he took a vow of chastity. కోకగోచిపెట్టుకొను to draw the skirt of the petticoat between the thighs, and tuck it into the waist behind. గోచిదరిద్రము nakedness, utter poverty. గోచికాడై stripped naked.
