See అంబరు. అంబరమణి the gem of heaven, i. e., the sun. అంబరచరుడు one who dwells in the sky. అంబరాంబరుడు n. Sky-cinctured, that is, (dik-ambara) 'naked,' an epithet of Siva. శివుడు.

(p. 18) akamu akamu. [Skt. from ఆ = not & క = happiness.] n. Ache, pain, affliction. Sin. దుఃఖము, పాపము నాకము = న+అకము = heaven, the sinless place.

The descent of a deity from heaven in a particular shape, the appearance of any deity upon earth, origin. దేవుడు రూపాంతరమును ఎత్తడము. విష్ణువు ఎత్తిన దశావతారములు the ten incarnations of Vishnu. రామావతారమెత్తినప్పుడు when he appeared on earth as Rama. వాడు గర్వావతారము he is pride incarnate, అది క్షామావతారము she is the genius of famine. (p. 98) aśarīravāṇi a-ṣarīra-vāṇi. [Skt.] The speech of an invisible being, a voice from heaven. ఆకాశవాక్కు. అశరీరి a-ṣarīri. n. A spirit, an incorporeal being. దేహము లేనివాడు. 'తనకునబ్బాలుచే చావుగలదని యశరీరి చేవిని' (Vish. viii. 78.) being warned by a voice from heaven that this child should cause his death.
